It's funny how every time I post one of these threads, knowing how passionate I am about the subject, the same handful of people pop up to ridicule those of us that believe and post smartass comments.

Do me a favor and stop posting unless you can contribute something constructive to the discussion. I'm not interested in your condescending remarks. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate me making fun of your beliefs...say religion?

As someone who has had a personal experience, your remarks are insulting to say the least. I know what I saw, and no amount of arguing with you will ever change that. Your comments are tantamount to calling me and every other eyewitness a liar, which you wouldn't dare do to my face, but seem to think is okay from behind a computer.

If you don't believe in Bigfoot, or even the possiblity...fine. But please show some respect for those that do. That is all.

You never told me your story, even though I asked. I'm not calling you a liar. I'm saying there is no evidence that "bigfoot" is real. Being insulted by my fun, is poor sportsmanship on your part, in my opinion.
You "think" you saw bigfoot. I saw a U.F.O. I won't call it an alien spacecraft, because I have no proof. Where's the proof you saw bigfoot? How close were you? Did you smell it? Did you feel it's breath? Did you see if it had a zipper? Did you touch it's fur? Did you see a black bear and think it was a bigfoot? How do you know you saw Bigfoot?
Don't be mad at me for posting my opinions, and not yours. Be mad at me because I like to "stir the pot".

        Here's the problem Lonnie...

If I said I saw a bear, or a deer, or even an elephant in the woods...no one would question it. Even though there's no logical reason for an elephant to be in the woods in northeastern Ohio. Why? Because everyone knows what en elephant is and what it looks like.

So, to answer your question...fine. I did not see a Bigfoot.

I saw an 8 foot tall guy wearing a super expensive ultra realistic ape suit who just happened to know my father and I would be cutting wood in a completely remote area one particular afternoon 35 years ago and decided to hide behind a tree and pop his head out for ten seconds just to mess with me, then run off and never be seen again. Does that work better for you?
I'm sure whoever that genius prankster was surely felt it was worth all the time, effort, and expense they put into making an ape suit and standing around in the woods for hours just hoping someone would come along and see them. Remember...this was 35 years ago. No internet...no cell phones, and where I lived not a costume shop. I wonder who that 8 foot tall Hollywood level special effects artist was and how they managed to coordinate and stage such an elaborate hoax that generated ZERO exposure for them since I never told anyone but my dad.

It's amazing how you skeptics prefer to believe these ultra elaborate hoax conspiracies that make zero sense over admitting even the possibility a rare animal exists you don't know about. But whatever. I'm done arguing. I know what I saw and I do not owe you or anyone else an explanation.

If you or anyone you love is ever falsely accused of a serious crime, I certainly hope that the judge, prosecutor, and jury examining the merits of that case have a far more stringent definition of 'credible evidence' than you do.

When making extraordinary claims, extraordinary evidence is required.

That's your argument? LOL...people are convicted of crimes all the time based solely on eyewitness testimony and circumstantial evidence. So much for that.

Oh, and you STILL haven't answered my question. How did Native Americans describe and depict large apes when they weren't discovered by science until 1902 on another continent? What's more, many different tribes describe the EXACT SAME ANIMAL...They even gave it dozens of different names. Sasquatch being only one.

              I'm waiting...

It makes me sick to my stomach that somebody won't catch and fix him! It would be easy to catch, heal, and rehab him. He's a young bear walking around trying to get help from people!!

You mean the brief eyewitness account of an 8 year old 35 years later doesn't meet that standard?

Seriously tho, for a large primate species to exist and endure from a realistic scientific and genetic standpoint, their numbers essentially need to be in the thousands. Unless they're cross breeding with mountain people

What are you complaining about? I would love to be surrounded by a bunch of Scullys.

You are transparent; I see many things... I see plans within plans.

Hairy Man as depicted in a Central California pictograph estimated to be 500 to 1,000 years old. (Photo courtesy KATHY MOSKOWITZ STRAIN/Stanislaus National Forest)

This seems to be the most commonly referenced image of Bigfoot that is often pointed out by the faithful as indisputable proof of Bigfoot's existence.

^Blah, blah, blah...there are many other examples out there. You conveniently picked the most vague and indistinguishable.

Plus I suppose every single eyewitness EVER...THOUSANDS of them...is either lying or seeing bears that can apparently run on two legs.

The unfortunate thing about this show and the Finding Bigfoot show is that they are pre-taped, so the viewer goes in knowing they don't find anything substantial because if they had, it would have made the news back whan it happened.

I love checking out the bigfoot sighting videos on youtube. It makes me feel like I did as a kid when I was ALL IN with monsters, aliens, and demons. I can't say I believe in Bigfoot or aliens or anything, but the videos are fun.
Expectation is the death of discovery.
