So I have a ton of Iron Man comics. I haven't read them in a long time - Most recently I reread the 80 or so I have out of the first 100 issues. **The following could perhaps be considered a spoiler.**
I didn't remember Stane and only vaguely remembered War Monger. I'm glad I didn't because I wouldda seen it coming.Comment

Just saw it with the kids and all I have to say is WOW
Perfect casting, Super effects, Kick A## music score.Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.Comment

Just got back from seeing it. Very good. No disappointments at all. I definately liked it better than Spider-Man I. But then I don't care for anything with Toby Mac. I liked Paltrow she is a cutie. Given some of my Superhero movie let downs in the past I am not going to complain about a single thing in this movie. Big Red and Yellow thumbs up."Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."Comment

VERY accurate to the Comics...there's even a Storyline in the Comics where Tony finds out His Company's Tech is preverted, and used by the wrong People...and He makes it His misssion to retrieve it. The only real change from the Comics is...Vietnam...to Afganastan...which totally makes sense, to update it.It's probably one of the most faithful Comic adaption's EVER!!

I saw it yesterday and loved it. I have never read any Iron-Man comics so it was great to see it from the perspective of someone who doesn't really know the background story but is a super hero fan.
In my opinion it rates as third best superhero movie ever made. Spider-Man 1 is still #1 but I grew up reading Spider-Man comics so I'm subjective in that matter. I would rate the original Superman #2. That movies still holds up a couple of decades later. It was a great movie though and in good company considering Iron-Man isn't one of the better known super heroes."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
