    Looking forward to seeing it.

I am glad to see R. Downey Jr. in a great role, I always liked him.

It's one of the best superhero movies EVER. It soars, it rocks, it has heart, it makes you laugh, it's brilliantly crafted, and -- perhaps best of all for us old fogeys -- the CGI is practically indistinguishable from the real photography. I give it four and a half stars out of a possible five: it only loses the half star because the climactic end battle does not reach the heights of epic awesomeness that the earlier action sequences have. Downey shines, though, and the logic of the screenplay is flawless as far as I can discern. Drop what you are doing and go see it RIGHT NOW! (And be sure to stay past the end credits for the surprise end-scene.)

I'm going to see it in about an hour. My anniversary is on Monday, so this is a nice little date night for my husband and I.

I saw it again today...and the whole time I was thinking to myself....THIS will be the movie of the year. I'm almost wondering how Batman will hold up next to it. Yeah yeah yeah...I know what you're thinking...but dang..what a totally awesome show. And Downey Jr.'s past...drugs, prison...he seems to really have turned his life around and I can't imagine what the show would have been like if he would have died as another tragic Hollywood story.

Now. Most folks 'round these parts know my Darth Vader suit....for $5000, i can have the MK3 Iron Man suit from head to toe!! :-)

Great, great movie...I already have it as a solid top five superhero flick as well (and it might go up higher with time).

Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark was terrific, he made the movie...Iron Man was not bad either, lol.

I still hate Gwyneth Paltrow though, I just can't stand her.

Jeff Bridges was also a solid villain.

Kudos to Jon Favreau, he knows his stuff.

It's no mistake Rotten Tomatoes rated it 94% positive ratings, the highest ever for a comic book-based film.

I loved the beginning...that's how a playboy billionaire should behave, not like brooding Bruce Wayne, lol.

I rate this movie a solid 9 out of 10.

I'm might just be on a high from just coming back, but it feels like the best superhero movie. After the high, I know it will most likely remian in the top 3, if not number 1.

Iron Man was my favorite hero as a kid and I will say Downey, Jr is a better Iron Man than I have ever seen portrayed in the comic books. The characters are really well-crafted and the lines are well-delivered. Although the action is fantastic and the effects are great, its the characters and story that character.

And STAY FOR THE CREDITS. I thought I geeked out at the trailer!!!

                              films.

Downey Jr. is terrific in the part, as is the entire cast.
What really stands out is the story, which is legitimate,
and it's not just an excuse for mindless action (but when the action is there, you're going to enjoy it) FX are good, and the man in a suit is believable.

I won't spoil anything, but it's damn enjoyable,
suitable for most kids (aside from a little sexual innuendo and Stark in bed with a woman)

MAN WAS THIS A GOOD MOVIE!

I agree with Rob on all counts except kid appropriateness. This is rated PG 13 justifiably. If your kid id younger than that you should view it forst and decide for yourself. My 4 year old REALLY wants to see it. Stark's sexcipades are the least of my worries - krealistic war scenes, torture and violence are my concerns.

I just got back and I loved it! I can't wait to find out who from the Marvel U is getting the movie treatment next and when they'll team up as the Avengers. It's so awesome to see that there's a director who loves comics and wants to make movies that fans will love.
