Pope Benedict XVI was Defender of the Faith when he was plain ole Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger... I am a practicing Catholic but I am naturally suspicious of people in power, so I'm not all that impressed with him. Even less with JP2. People talk about Woytyla as if he was a Saint, but when Bishop Oscar Romero went to visit him, Pope John Paul stone-walled him and would not see him -- and didn't even have the huevos to say "Go Away, Bishop..."

Apparently the other Bishops from El Salvador warned JP2 that Romero was a trouble maker...

We all know what later happened to Bishop Romero. I like to think that the when the Pope died and passed over to the other side, it was Romero who met him and said: "I forgive you..."

Hey! Your right. That is one pimpin ride. Are you sure that it is not called the pimp mobile? I could kind of see myself in that. When will these babies ever go into production for the general public to purchase? Ahh forget it!! I will just have one custom built. I hate to wait beyond a reasonable point.
