This is usually an end to a winning bet on a lot of TV shows.

Looking at this deeper, would anybody here REALLY want to be woken up with a full breakfast tray on their lap ?

Everytime I see someone on TV being woken up with breakfast in bed I always think, there's no way this person don't have to take a super wiz.

    any more TV cliché's ?
My wife may want to refute that. I make breakfast on the weekends and always wake her up to breakfast in bed along with coffee. She seems to appreciate it! LOL

Filming in California but it suppose to represent another part of the country or world or outer space.

To California filmakers, our mountains (the East Coast) have trees on them

Referring to Six Million Dollar Man filmakers, the outskirts of Washington DC is not a desert

To Kolchak filmmakers, if you want to give the illusion your show takes place in Chicago try a little better not filming background palm trees

Stop filming at Vasquez Rocks ... Everybody knows it as the "Kirk vs Gorn location"

Heck, even in a regional level...stuff like that makes me bonkers.

Now, this is not a fictional show...but sports. Almost always, when either the Raiders, A's, and Warriors play...the blimp shows San Francisco from the air...not Oakland...now...I understand Oakland skyscrapers are not in San Francisco's league...but come on...those are Oakland's teams...we don't wanna see Frisco representing us...I swear...we are gonna shoot that blimp down one day...

Usually they just get in the car and the keys are already in the ignition

This wasn't TV but the movie "Stakeout" was supposed to take place in Seattle but it was filmed (at least the local scenes) in Vancouver, BC.

Totally annoying because nothing even resembled Seattle - it wasn't our waterfront, they showed the Vancouver Lookout Tower like it was the Space Needle.

Boy... This is true. And when I see it, my suspension of disbelief is lost.

You notice how easy it is to get kids to do stuff on TV as well? Whether it's chores or brushing their teeth or getting ready for bed. You never see the kids throwing a fit over doing that stuff.

Talking about made up places and false locations depicted in a movie...one of the most famous ones here in the Bay Area...is 48 Hours with Eddie Murphy...the scene where him and Nick Nolte go to a country and western club, smack middle of San Francisco's Mission District...lol...there's no such place...at least not in the 80s...but that was a what the hell moment around these parts. The movie showcases the Mission District a lot...yet not one lone Hispanic shown...the Mission District is the Latino section of San Francisco, lol.

No one finishes their street vendor food.

They take one or two bites, then throw a perfectly good hot dog or burrito away, lol.
