Hope to see you in Belgium one day

For now-I'm a stay-at-home Dad. I'm trying to raise 3 little collectors, (Ages 5, 4, and 17mos.) but I think the youngest will probably be the only one.

I'm a Station Supervisor on London Underground(....well someones got to do it.....stop laughing......grrrrrrrrrr..) and have discovered that 21 years on this job is exactly the right amount of time to turn a pleasant person into a bitter, twisted, people hating machine of sarcasm and whinging.

I'm "Inspector #12" who puts all those little tiny pieces of paper in your clothes. On a side note if you buy anything with "Inspector #6" you should probably burn it. That guy's got a real bad case of something itchy going on...

Work? Shame on you for using that nasty four letter word around here Mister. I classify myself as retired as I live on interest money from CD's (No, not compact discs) and other investments. What would that actually be classified as? Some titles that come to mind: Mego Museum Inspector, CEO of the Loafing division, Museum Market Place Analyst.....Trust Fund Baby??

What line of work are you in?

I know this was done a while ago but with all of the new members here I thought I'd start a thread again.

I teach 8th grade U.S. History in a middle school in Houston, Texas. I also coach football and soccer at the school. I teach an athletics class also. In the summer I sometimes work in upscale restaurants as a chef. I have been requested a few times here lately to work cooking but life is busy now. I may work a bit in the summer in one particular resturant. I have been a certified chef for 14 years and have been a certified teacher for 11 years. I have completed my masters of education and will be looking for an assistant principal job after next year. I will start my doctorate in a few years and will stay in the education field and supplement my income by cooking. Believe it or not cooking makes me a lot more than teaching BUT the hours I used to work were nuts. I would work 7 days a week, 85 hours a week. Not good for my marriage.
