Unfortunately Sampaoli got his way with the goalie Bravo. While keeping penalty-specialist Herrera on the bench. Come to think these boys had the guts to call themselves the best generation of soccer players in Chile's history...

Even though they lost, and almost won at the end of regulation (hitting the goalpost)...congrats to your team, Chile...they managed to age, and take years off, of millions of Brazilians with their play...it was awesome to watch.sigpicComment

Must've been awesome to watch to anybody who isn't Chilean. Losing against the worst Brazil team that I've ever seen in my life (this team is even worst than the 2010 one) is nothing to be proud of. We had Chile's best goalie and penalty-specialist sitting on the bench because the previous manager banned him, and Sampaoli did not wanted to remove Bravo from the team. I'm sore mostly because I should have been at the fleamarket instead of wasting my time watching the "best generation of soccer players in Chile's history" booking time waiting for the penalty kicks to get them OBVIOUSLY off the tournament with the freakin' A-H goalie that Bravo is and always be!
On the other hand, what a goal by James Rodríguez. Uruguay is pressing now. They'll find their way to score!

Props to Chile man, the loss on penalties came to down to dumb luck. But the game was exciting.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

James Rodríguez x2. HOLY COW!
No luck involved in the results. Not really when you have a penalty-specialt goalie sitting in the bench. Bravo never saved a penalty IN HIS FREAKIN' LIFE!
Back to the Uruguay game... El Maestro just sent two fresh men in to the field. The 0-2 looks tough to solve, but for Uruguay is never over 'til it's over! Go Uruguay!!!Comment

I presume the FIFA is celebrating today. What a shame.
I like Colombian people, they're nice and their women are beautiful. Pekerman is a great manager. We had him as an option before the qualifying games started, but chose Claudio Borghi instead because he was cheaper. That's how you start losing a worldcup.
Hopefully Colombia will score more goals than Brazil next Friday!!
Chile shook Brazil 4-0 playing Copa America to lose the final match against Uruguay 1-0. I also remember Chile beating them twice (one of those 3-0 here in Santiago) in the qualifying games of the previous worldcups, so there must be something wrong with that info, Hector.
