If Uruguay keeps playing like that, they should just go home. They're obviously drunk.

The team is too old, plain and simple. They were at their prime FOUR years ago. Their Sub20 team should have provided some fresh players, but no... let's stick to the injury prone and the pretty boys. Great world cup strategy there.

I'm now hoping Germany doesn't tank.

Can't believe what Uruguay just did, or is it that Costa Rica improved so much the last couple of decades? Uruguay's players seemed so old and worn, lost in the field, without any ideas or strength. I was thinking they were going to win easily today. I guess that's the exciting thing about this sport.

Italy will soon be smashing the Brits with their usual lackluster way of playing, 9 defenders and 1 on forward. Not expecting to see any beauty on this match, but in a worldcup anything can happen. Gonna go grab a bag of chips, some Coronas, sit back and to enjoy!

Costa Rica pulls a shocker and downs Uruguay, 3-1.

They had played eight previous games...and Uruguay was 8-0 vs Costa Rica.

Uruguay was missing its superstar, Suarez...and Forlan is not the same player anymore, but no excuses, Uruguay got beat, simple as that.

Perreria is an idiot, kicking like that and getting red-carded, with seconds left in the game...DUMB.
