I've turned off a few on TV of course, but the only one I ever walked out on was Warren Betty's "Dick Tracy".

Movies You Walked Out On

I do not normally walk out on bad films; however, there have been exceptions to the rule. The Doors is the first movie I can remember walking out on. The Blair Witch lasted less than 20 minutes for me. Clerks 2 had me clearing out in less than 15 minutes. Personally I found Time Cop to be painful, but even worse was Mario Bros and Double Dragon."Procrastination is the art of planning for tomorrow."Comment

Haven't see the other two. But if I had, and they were both bad, it wouldn't necessarily mean that I'd think that the third was great, just maybe better than the first two.
You're not wrong in your opinion, you obviously enjoyed the film, and that's all that should matter.
I didn't like it, so I walked out.Comment

I have kids, and unfortunately, they like to watch films that I have zero interest in...like Scooby Doo or Cats and Dogs. So...I just sit back, relax, and take a snooze. Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.

I've been to the movies 3 times in the last 12 years. I saw Episode I and then most recently, Iron Man and GI Joe (I went with my nephew). In general, I hate the whole "going to the movies" experience and well, I think 99% of new movies suck and are absolute garbage.
But I can tell you recent movies I watched on DVD or TV that I shut off because they were so damn bad. One being the remake of Friday the 13th and the other was Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. I also had to shut off The Devil's Rejects, because I can't stand Rob Zombie and his Tarantino-like style of ripping off classic films and passing them off as original to a dumb mainstream crowd who doesn't know any better.Comment

I have never walked out on any movie and today it's just too expensive to be an option. I would have liked to walk out for these films:
Your Highness
Beverly Hills Chihuahua
Timecop
Year of the Comet
Pet Sematary 2
The First Power
Cool World
Superman IV - The Quest For Peace
In all but the first one I couldn't do it because other people were with me so I sat it out. For the first one I was hoping Natalie Portman would show more skin.Last edited by johnmiic; May 23, '11, 2:21 AM.Comment

You just don't understand the level of scriptwriting needed to create a complex character such as Jar Jar, Mike.....

I wanted to go to the bathroom and get a snack, but the aisle was blocked by my buddy who was leaned all the way forward with his head resting on his hands.
I thought he was having a kind of etherial nostalgic mind trip or something - giving total focus to the film - so I didn't want to disturb him. Far be it for me to ruin his experience just because I did't care for it, I thought. After the movie he told me he was half-asleep the whole time!Comment
