Well, maybe not a death scene, but how about a mostly dead scene...

Princess Bride and the resurrection scene with Billy Crystal and Carol Kane.

Kevin Spacey ("American Beauty") is actually my favorite.

Actually COUNT "The Six-Fingered Man" RUGEN's death scene
in that movie is one of the most potent of all-time...forgot about that one.

And grayhank's mention of Spacey's character's in America Beauty is just wonderfully
            depicted--and---in a way---the WHOLE MOVIE---is a death scene because
you anticipate it from just about the very start

3000 Miles to Graceland,.. Costner went out over the top,.. it was great.
I think Costner's death in A PERFECT WORLD was better

I have always been fond of the you reap what you sow sort of deaths.

The two that stand out right off of the top of my head is the Wehrmacht soldier who was spared his life in "Saving Private Ryan" and taken out by Timothy Upham at the end of the movie.

I also enjoyed watching William Tavington get his "just desserts" in "the Patriot", Jason Isaacs is an incredible villain actor.

The death of Spock in "Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan" has always been a personal favorite. Sure, he got better in the next movie, but his willingness to sacrifice himself for the crew of the Enterprise is one of the best movie deaths in the last 20-30 years IMO.

Hrundi V. Bakshi filming his characters death scene at the beginning of The Party sticks out, I'm laughing now just thinking about it.

The end of Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid is quite powerful as well, not to mention sad.

The movie was Mafia with Lloyd Bridges. I loved when "Barney" got it in the end from the Eskimo hitman. Also when the above mentioned kid gets whacked by the jurassic park compies thats priceless!

I think the movie is MAFIA!. Lloyd Bridges played the Don. Great scene in that movie where one of the sons is standing naked but the shot is from just above the waist. A bird flies over and lands on a "perch" and it's like 5 feet away from him. Later he turns and knocks a vase off a table from like 10 feet away. Super funny!! You can probably find this in the bargain bin at Walmart.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.
