I made the mistake of mentioning to my daughter she should be a Minion 4 months ago. There hasn't been a day since when she talked about it. So Minion it is, and I get to be Gru and my wife is Lucy, the love interest/secret agent from Despicable Me 2.

My son opted out of the family idea, and is going as a very convincing looking 11th Doctor:

I need something easy to work in for my Halloween party every year, so I try to stay simple, but unique. This year, I was the fast food worker while Ed and Bart were the hot dogs.

Thanks! They are actually already printed and in the mail! I usually make my own cards and have them printed as 5X7 photo cards so I'm not limited to the poor selection most photolabs have for their pre-printed cards.

And no, I didn't happen to catch a lightning strike when my daughter was standing on the hill, just a little photoshop magic added to that picture. My daughter loved it!

I am very proud of my little girl... This year she decided early on that she wanted to be Skulleta from Monster High. But as we've gotten closer she's decided that instead of just being an off the rack character she now wants to be "Hello Kitty as Skulleta". Her reasoning is that 1. Both characters are fun but kinda boring on their own and 2. She says that it makes perfect sense since Hello Kitty is always dressing up as something. Once she gets it all together I'll share some pics.
