Here's one. When you meet me in person,I'm really very quiet. Once I get to know you and vice versa,I'm like the way I am on here.

Interesting thread! Heres a few about me:

I hate working on cars. I know how to do the stuff, but I hate getting all greasy. I had a headlite out last week and left the kid at the gas station fix it!....LOL.

I love Coke but I don't care much for Pepsi.

I have had a paranormal type of experience at Gettysburg battlefield.

My 2 sisters and I all live in the same town, but we don't see one another for months at a time.

I'm a newlywed (well fairly recent).....I got married August '12.

I met my wife when she was my server at an Italian restaurant. I had gone out to dinner one Friday night with my room mate and his girlfriend.

I traveled cross country by myself on my motorcycle when I was 21 and spent the summer working at Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier National Park.

I never took the S.A.T but still got into college and have a B.A. in History.

I had a freaky experience at a campsite along the Natchez Trace- well a trail really- felt like I'd been there before in another life as an Indian but wasn't part of the tribe I was living with but had found them after my own had been killed- and felt like I was being pursued again along the trail- rather unnerving actually.

I really like jelly on my french toast.

I have a much stronger bond with one of our 3 cats- Jake. I can pick him up and he will put his paws around my neck and purr furiously while I scratch his head. I have another cat who drools when she purrs- enough leave stains on your shirt.

In college, my girlfriend took me to meet her parents and while sitting in their kitchen discussing college life I suddenly flashed on the fact that I had dreamed the moment I was in some months earlier- sitting around their kitchen bar, talking about college life and laundry- remembered the dream in detail including the exact same conversation and could see that in my dream her parents faces were clouded and blurry- remembered waking up for a moment and thinking- how weird that I would dream about sitting in someones kitchen talking about laundry! I was so shocked in the moment that I recalled the dream that I couldn't finish my sentence and just trailed off...while in the dream I had finished making a joke about putting off laundry so long the pile of dirty clothes begins to talk to you.

That is a true deja vu experience. Supposedly (depending on your beliefs) deja vu is basically just an affirmation of that is where you are supposed to be in that moment in life significant or not, your soul/spirit already knew.

I have deja vu like experiences quite often, but they are never as concrete as the one described. But they do give me a very eerie feeling.

              1. I once was attacked by a flesh-eating virus, but fortunately as a child I had a mishap with some gamma rays and gained the power of virus-eating flesh. So, the whole thing ended up being a stalemate and we went out later to have smoothies.

              2. I sacrificed a lot to get where I am today. To be exact, it was either 27 or 28 hobos that I sacrificed to that burning oil drum in my back yard. I'm not sure what to do about Whispering Pete who claimed he ate his twin in utero. Does that count as a two-fer or just a single sacrifice?

              3. I have a milk crate full of mixed tapes from Blake Lively along with some other celebrity detritus. You can read about it here: https://www.facebook.com/notes/kirk-...50124925063413.

              4. My favorite treat is homemade popsicles made from leftover hot dog water. So good in the summer time!

              5. I think the sexiest thing in the world is a pair of Daisy Duke cutoffs made from old mom jeans.

              6. I once got into a fight with my dry cleaner over what constituted a "heavily-soiled" plus-size Catwoman Suit. In my dry cleaner's defense, egg salad and Cool Ranch Dorito dust are much harder to get out of lycra than I originally anticipated. What can I say? Best Wedding Reception ever!

              7. Found out the hard way that when a 9-year-old holds her hands in the shape of a heart over her heart, it's "cute." But, when a 42-year-old man does it front of a Harley Davidson store, it's code for "beat me up, please."

              8. I'm really good at eating stuff. In fact, if you were to watch me eat, you'd think I'd been doing it my whole life. Not true. I once went for nearly 6 hours without eating in college. Man, I was such a rebel back then.

              9. I always thought I was a Caucasian. Turns out, I've been wrong all these years. I'm actually a Pepper.

              10. I still have scars from a break-dancing fight I participated in last week. I guess some wounds never truly heal.

I've gone to yard sales since I was 12. I've been flipping items since I was 15. While yard saling I constantly drive by houses and can remember what I bought from there at a previous yard sale.

I never worked an actual job until I was 17. I flipped stuff and scalped concert tickets.

My first job was in an arcade. I took it so I could get a contact at the mall and get in early to buy concert tickets, and sell them on Friday and Saturdays without people coming to my house. In those days record stores sold the tickets but they wouldn't let you in to the mall until the store opened. The overnight security guard would let me in the back door and when they led the outside group in, I was already in line, at the store, with as many friends as I needed because of the 8 ticket minimums they used to have. It was sweet. I sat front row for Van Hagar for 3 nights in a row on the 5150 tour. I was a much bigger Sammy Hagar fan than Van Halen.

I worked 2 years as concert security. I was offered a job to tour with Ozzy during one of his Ozzfest tours in 1996. I turned it down because I had a wife and three kids at home. One of those I wish I could have, but don't really regret decisions.

I've owned 3 retail stores since I graduated High School.

I raced R/C cars for almost 30 years. My best National finish was 3rd.

I miss coaching Little League. I coached 6 seasons and never finished less than 2nd. It's one of the few things I consider myself really good at. However, I hate the parents. I quit after threatening to beat a father, of one of my players, that would not stop harassing the umpire. He was later banned from all 3 leagues my city has, for threatening the same umpire in the parking lot. His kid got into soccer after that. I was asked to come back this summer by the coach of the team I lost to in my last finals playoff game. I declined. He quit half way through the season after getting into a scuffle with one of his players parents. We now shoot darts in the same league, with 2 other ex-coaches.

I will drink almost any type of alcohol, except beer. I would rather drink Smirnoff's or Hard Cider or Lemonade than beer. Coconut Rum/Diet Coke is my first choice.

My closest friends have come from toy related things. Either R/C racing or collecting.

Met my wife while she was my bus driver for a job. Her company transported us to different locations to work. She hated me for months. Just over 2 years later the boys were born. We make 25 years in December.

This happens to me all the time. I'm guessing it's fairly common due to the saying Deja Vu. One time it was a conversation with Dave and Ron that we had in the Mego Suite. It used to freak me out but now, it's happened so many times, it doesn't even phase me anymore.

I too have seen a ghost, a UFO and believe I astral project quite often.

I prefer books, dolls/toys and animals to people.

Strange but cool topic. I'm pretty boring but...

I started shooting guns at age five or so and became a pretty proficient marksman but hate to hunt. I couldn't pull the trigger on an animal, sorry.

This will surprise those who know me, I'm actually 6'7", I just stoop a lot.

Most will assume I am a caucasian, but I'm actually a dark skinned albino. Laugh if you will, but you'd be surprised how the albino community shuns me.

I do not drink alcohol and have never been drunk or high. Ever.

I actually have the world's largest seashell collection. Since it's too large to keep at home I keep them scattered along the various beaches of the world.

My favorite food is ribs. Second is tacos.

Aside from potatoes and corn, I do not eat any vegetables. Actually corn mixed in mashed potatoes is awesome.

I lettered in both band and baseball. I was a band geek and a jock. Yeah, I didn't have many friends in high school as I didn't fit in with anyone or any clique.

                      Yup, boring.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I ran with the bulls in Pamplona Spain. Scared the bejeesus out of me too.
I have lost interest in collecting toys(for the moment). not really sure why, but I am slowly selling stuff off.
I met my wife in a bar, over a game of darts.
My parents are super Catholic but I am an atheist.
I only drink beer. Hard alcohol makes me feel ill.
I don't hunt even though most of my family does. I have nothing against hunting and love venison, but have better things to do than sit in a tree in the freezing cold, hoping a deer crosses my path

                          Interesting thread.

I grew up in a quiet small town and have a phobia towards attention and crowds.
I have never been married and never will under any circumstances. I dont even date.
While I like comics and superheroes, I'm not passionate about them. I'm more of a fantasy guy.
When I read a book very often I will read it one more time right after because I miss the characters.
I love old tech and computers. At the moment im fiddling around on a C64. I even read old online computer mags and manuals.
I watch CNN constantly for the politics, but I hate politics.
I HATE alcohol and beer and never cuss, but I was in the Navy.
I cant stand modern videogame systems. Nothing after the playstation 2 for me.
The newest movie I've seen is about a year old.

One more shocking thing about me: I have NEVER drank one drop of alcohol in my life. I have no problems with others drinking around me, I just choose not to. It's not a religious thing, it's just my thing. My grandfather never drank a drop either, and I just kind of made up my mind I wouldn't.

When I graduated highschool I got a plaque for perfect attendance over 4 years.

                                I love old classic movies

I sometimes bring Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches & pop-tarts to work

I hate when people make comments about what I eat/drink, I don't give a dang what anyone eats why do they care that I drink Grape Soda?

I love watching football and basketball (Giants and Knicks).

I am allergic to fresh fruit but can eat it if it is cooked (apple pie, etc).

When I have a deja vu experience I feel nauseous and usually gag.

I am shy (but I think you already knew that)
