How about some of the clunkers that are around today? I will NEVER see what appeal Spongebob and Fairly Oddparents have. Talk about mindless TV!

*edit* OOPS, SUPERHERO cartoons! DUH! Well, not quite sure about those, but I really hate the boxy animation w/ the new Batman and Superman cartoons. Do they have to look like Johnny Bravo's relatives?

Fairly Odd Parents is fantastic cartoon Programing imo. I love that show. Not so Much Sponge Bob,.. Between him & Patrick, even with stoners .. I find a bit hard that they are that stupid. It ruins it for me, as the show protrays them as overly exzaderated Pot Heads. I can't watch,.. it's horrible.

Sponge Bob is like Watching the Movie "Dude were is my Car" ..., but 100 times worse.

Fairly Oddparents has some nice winks and nods to the "comic book geek" in all of us...

I could never stand He Man or Thunder Cats, I know they were popular but I thought they sucked. Also never liked The Wonder Twins and that stupid Monkey. But now watching it on cbale, the entire superfriends is both nostalgic and cheesy, but it's what we had. Loved space Ghost and Thundar the barbarian.

I'm pretty picky and I think SPONGEBOB is nothing short of genius

How the heck one can make a cartoon that is SO UTTERLY enjoyable
for many parents---many YOUNG kids-- and ME ---is beyond me and quite the
                achievement.

                  Tarzan Cartoon

Please tell me someone remembers the Tarzan cartoon. He used to get captured by some hidden jungle city, then dive out the window and do the tarzan yell and stuff. It was one of my favorites, but nobody ever seems to remember it, and I never have seen it on anyplace since. I grew up in the Cincinnatti area. Could have been a regional thing. Anybody???......

I catch myself laughing at Spongebob as well. It is the only cartoon my daughter watches that I can sit and watch as well.

As for superhero cartoons, I liked Capt Caveman. I remember the day it premiered, and the Friday night show the day before when they showed the new line ups for Saturday morning cartoons.

Superfriends would have been 1000x better if they didn't have the Wonder Twins. I could not stand them.

I missed woozy too but it surely had the same silliness of a classic plastic man comic. It was actually well animated (I think it was a filmation cartoon but I am not sure)

Okay I will wait for a Pile on I have a tie

the 1st season of superfreinds (with Wendy and marvin) is really awful. but it isn't the worst

70's FF where hernie the robot replaced the torch is the

hate em both and the stories stink. The only saving grace for superfriends season 1 is the apearances of Plastic man and Green arrow

YES! Wendy and Marvin Superfriends is HORRIBLE - there was then teh fact that there was no alternative and today that it is nostalgic but it is an hour long plotless, aimless parade of poorly drawn, poorly colored, poorly scripted, poorly animated, never fighting... something

                                Hmmmm....

Y'know; with stuff like the 90's X-Men and Rubik in the running it's tough to pick a WORST.... but I gotta go with "Turbo Teen." I'd mentioned this show a while back on another site and one of the guys who worked on it explained how he got OUT of working on it. He asked questions:

-So, if he's a car and someone steals his tires is he missing his hands and feet when he changes back? If there are people in the car when he changes back do they get crushed? If someone puts their luggage in the trunk, when he changes back is it stuck in....

"You don't have to work on the show any more."

He had some good stories about "Goldie Gold and Action Jack" too.

                                Don C.
