What is the WORST superhero cartoon of all time?

I came across a topic the other day that reminded me of this best forgotten cartoon and I thought to myself, "What could be worst than this?" Couldn't think of anything to beat it so I thought I would put it out here for a good challenge. Is there ANY superhero cartoon that is WORSE in every aspect than... "FRED AND BARNEY MEET THE THING" ?
Yes...It really happened - (circa 1979) Ben Grimm is now a kid named Benjy Grimm and when he knocks his two rings together he turns into the Thing while chanting, "Thing ring do your...thing." Ahem... I have to go to the bathroom now. Here's the link...

Thank God for poor resolution and music over top the dialogue...

I watched that every Saturday for some reason, it was such an odd spin off of the character. It must have made Jack Kirby cringe.

Topless Robot just did a bit on this very subject:
Topless Robot - The 10 Lamest Cartoon Superheroes

I think Mobey Dick should be #1, I hated that cartoon as a kid.

That 90's XMEN cartoon blew big time. The Spider-Man of the same time ran a close second. Crappy animation with no style and lame plots.

That take on The Thing was pretty bad, but I've always had a sore spot for the Hanna Barbera attempts at creating superheroes in the 60's. Mobey Dick was the worst, but I hated Shazzan, Frankenstein, Jr., Birdman... even Space Ghost.

HB had some clunkers, but they also gave us Jonny Quest, Space Ghost and BirrrrrrrrdMan!

I wasn't too thrilled with Plastic Man when he was joined by Penny, Hula Hula (what? No Woozy Winks?!) and then later Baby Plas...but for some reason I seemed to watch every week anyway.

They bring up Captain Caveman and I got to agree. I mean that thing was just a rip-off of Scooby Doo. And then the best part? They drop him into a Flintstones series. yeesh.

I agree on the X-men cartoon. It was Horrible, to say the least.
However I was quite found of the Spider-man Cartoon. Parker was a bit overly whinny, however that cartoon covered some serious plots, & story arcs. It was great. & Every character that has ever appeared in a Spidey book was on the show too. Well,.. maybe not the Fly.

My only dissapointment with the Spidey toon, was if you missed an episode, you might not understand what was going on in the next,.. or one down the line.

I'm with you guys on the Thing being really bad.

I totally disagree on X-Men and Spider-man - no the animation is not Batman quality but it is acceptable. The stories were great - they took over 3 decades of material edited it down to the best stories and made it keep continuity.

Of that era of cartoon Iron Man and FF were WAY worse.

Stuff like Capt. Caveman don't bother me much because you are pooin on something I love. If it is bad it doesn't matter.

The first season of "The Batman" made me embarrassed for the creators.

The early marvel cartoons that had no movement were terrible. However some of those - like the first Captain America cartoon- look like they transfered the comic pages straight to the screen - I kinda like that.

^^ On those Captain America toons, that's exactly what they did.
