I can't eat the fries at Five Guys. I think they're cooked in peanut oil or something, and they just make me sick. I'll take the curly fries at Arby's any day.
    Fresh, not from concentrate.

Oh, I know, you are right.

A lot of them are bad though, the monicker roach coach is deserved, lol.

The fries at Five Guys are the highest caloried fries in the fast food world, the numbers will make you gasp...

The Five Guys large size packs in 1,464 calories and 71 grams of fat, holy smokes.

In comparison, McDonald's large fries are 500 calories and 25 grams of fat.

I'll take the Mickey Dee ones instead, thank you very much, lol.

BK does have some decent fries. My all-time favorite has to be Rally's.

Their bacon cheese dog with a side of cajun fries is one of the best tasting fast food meals I've ever had.

You also have to consider the portions at Five Guys--they are colossal. We share when we go.

I love Jack in the Box seasoned Curly Fries, but they give me asthma and make my chest hurt.

But occasionally it's worth it. Especially dunked in Ranch. mmmmmm

Ok, gotcha on the Five Guys fries, didn't know the fries came in a bucket, lol.

I live in In N Out country.

However, there's a Five Guys in Hayward, about ten miles away from me, one day I'll take a drive there, and give my verdict, I'm sure they are killer, lol.

I have a weird habit with McDonald fries, I dunk them in a mixture of ketchup and hot mustard, lol.

There's a killer English style fish & chips joint at the Emeryville Marketplace, served out of all places, a Chinese eatery, but the dish is killer, the breaded deep fried cod is awesome, and their fries even better, I sprinkle that yummy English vinegar all over them, man, it's so good, I think I'm hitting that place tomorrow, lol.

I'm not really a fan of anything from Burger King, it's my least favourite fast food burger place. But I'm now hooked on McDonalds fries. I'm gonna blame my kids for that, before they were born I had gone years without even setting foot inside a McDonalds. But I got reeled back in, damn kids!

Oh I LOVE making the simple mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise (uniquely peachy-orange mix to be found nowhere else in the universe) that I nicknamed 'goop'.
I got hooked on it as a kid from, I think, Arctic Circle used to put that pre-mix goop on their hamburgers. As a youngun' I used to go crazy for it. It does go really nice with regular fries.

McD's fries are the best in my opinion. Second being Carl Jr's criss cut fries.

                              WHAT?!

McDonalds finally opened in my town in about 1985 and there was quite a queue to try one of these legendary "Big Mac" burgers. As a Whopper Double Beef kinda guy (Cardiovascular system? Ha! Trial by flame grill.) you can imagine my sadness when I discovered how tiny a "Big Mac" is. And a "Quarter Pounder"? We use metric here and I imagined a quarter pound as something to be reckoned with. Nope. Very disappointing all 'round. Their newer menus are at least a little more interesting, but McDonalds is even down low on my kids' list of favourites.

Burger King do suck at fries (in my country).

The best burgers get made at home.

Five Guys followed by MCD's for me. I can't stand BK all that much either. Or Arby's for that matter. Chik Fil A has good waffle fries and Krystal's aren't bad either when fresh. Had Wendy's new fries last weekend, why did they ruin the old ones? But, man the Baconator was good.
