I view all fast food fries in the same way I do kool aid you get from a kid.

But then again, we've got one of these every few blocks. In fact, I can see this one from my office front door. Do Americans have chip trucks?

Have you tried Taco Bell's new grilled potato and bacon burrito?

      Pretty tasty, lol.

But for the ultimate breakfast burrito here in my part of the world, a huevos con chorizo burrito at one of the best taco trucks, man, that stuff is outta this world, deadly delicious, lol.

Oakland has a lot of taco trucks, but you have to find the right one, many are mediocre, some are downright rancid, but the really good ones, rival the top restaurants, aweome food indeed.

San Francisco has them too, but theirs tend to be from other world cuisines, not just Mexican.

San Jose has tons of them too.

We only have food trucks at flea markets, fairs and carnivals. We have had a few smoked barbecue set-ups, but those are few and far between.

But in the world of fast food, the king is still McDonald's, their fries never disappoint, I love them...as a matter of fact, I have bought In N Out burgers, then drive to McDonald's, and get their fires.. In N Out burger with Mickey Dee fries, the perfect combination, lol.
Yeah, I used to like Wendy's a bit better than McD's, but since the sea salt fries are so soggy, McD's took the title for me. As far as the main fast food chains go, anyhow.

We don't have any food trucks here. We did have one come to the office building every day while I was in Santa Ana working. The menu changed daily. I used to eat at it probably twice a week. Their items were really good. I don't think I ever saw one that did just fries.

The only food trucks we have around these parts is hotdog trucks and the occasional roach coach (mostly seen in factory and office building parking lots)

                Roach coach?

Is this just a name for a nasty greasy eatery on wheels?

It's a local term for a generic food truck that sells coffee, soda, pre-made sandwiches and burgers (and other things that heat in their microwave)

Food actually isn't that bad depending on the company

We used roach coach here too, that usually describes the mobile catering trucks for construction sites.

Most of the Chip Trucks I see aren't likely able to move without a tow truck...

I'd hardly call many of the taco trucks here nasty and greasy...many are authentic and awesome...prepared, cooked, and served by people who know their stuff, just like in their motherland.

Many, I agree with you though, you gotta know the right truck.

You gotta go to Huntsville if you want a taco truck. I'm really surprised there aren't any in Decatur.

I wasn't trying to say all food trucks were greasy places. I originally typed "greasy s-p-o-o-n" but the word filter made it look dirty. So by changing it, I made it sound more negative than intended.

I wish we had something like that here. We need variety!!!

Try a burger & fries at Five GUys & you will never be able to eat at McD or BK again.

                              I always choose Wendy's in a pinch.
