The Denver secondary gave that game away. That last bomb was one of many that never should have happened. If Denver wants to fix what happen, they need to start reassessing the secondary or the defensive coaches that train them. It was INSANE that the deep man overplayed that last pass and let the receiver get behind him. That was a textbook mistake.

I agree, the game was over. That safety and D-Back would not be on my team the next day. Def the safety. I don't care what your name is, you make a horrific mental mistake like that. Your fired.

I heard after the game Champ bailey was taken to a local burn unit...
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

On a more serious note Im not one of these conspiracy type guy's but I do wonder sometimes if the NFL has a serious bias against certain teams being in the superbowl. If they want certian teams there because they have a large fanbase and more money behind them because of it, basically Bandwagon teams. Of course this all has to do with ratings and money. I mean wouldn't be that hard to buy off a ref I guess..hehe. Everyone here has seen games where penalty's are called for basically just playing football I don't care what team you are. Anyone else ever think about this?
In the Steelers-Colts playoff game following the '05 season, Polamalu intercepted Manning late in the 4th Qtr. Polamalu caught it in mid-air, went to the ground and was untouched so he tried to get up and run. In the process he fumbled the ball and then he just fell on it. He was never touched until after he fell on the loose ball. It was ruled a turnover on the field but the Colts coach Tony Dungy challenged it. Of course it would have ended the game because it put the Steelers in field goal range at the Colts 30 and they were already up by 1 score. The head ref reviewed it and then he came up with a ruling that, because Polamalu fumbled the ball after getting back up, it was an incomplete pass. Say what? That is the biggest load of B.S. I ever saw in football! Afterward the guy that was the head ref for all of the refs in the NFL (and now works for the media) said that he didn't understand what that ref was calling and it didn't make any sense. He said that ref would never officiate another game in the NFL. (I never checked to see if he has or not). Even the NFL commissioner agreed and the league office sent a letter of apology to the Steelers. I think that call was bought and paid for. There is no rule in football that should have come into play there that would overturn the call on the field and the replay from every angle showed a blatant obvious interception. After the Colts got the ball back they went right down the field and scored. We all know the rest of the story with the Bettis fumble and the Colts missed field goal, but I will always believe there was more going on behind the scenes of this game than will ever be publicly known.

BTW....as a Steelers fan its tough for me to root for either team in this championship game, but my wife is from Cape Cod and so.....go Pats.
