The officials chose the Ravens over the Broncos...(says the Bitter Bronco Fan)...Manning struggles in the cold.....looks like Elway needs to build him a dome. Cant believe he turned the ball over three times. The defense was the same defense that started the seasson for us...they make all the stops and give up the big play on third down....all day long. Champs days are numbered. He has been living by reputation alone for the last couple years.

That Ravens/Broncos game was one of the best playoff games I have ever seen. The back and forth scoring was crazy. But you have to admit the Denver secondary just blew it. My thinking is there are some changes coming to those positions in the off season. I didn't even watch the second half of the Packers/49ers game. It was so apparent the Pack didn't have an answer for that QB, so it was over. And I honestly thought he would be a liability to the 49ers. That's going to be hard to defend. How can shadow him and not leave someone else open? This is going to be interesting.

Not that it changes the game that much, but I had heard Rodgers was playing with a sinus infection. Last year when I had one I could barely get out of bed. Would be neat to see a 49ers vs Ravens Super Bowl. Brother coaching against brother.

They may have been sick but at least now they can sit at home and get well watching the 49ers playing in their second straight NFC championship game.

2 great games yesterday!!! So happy for the Ravens as I didn't think they could pull it off. THAT was one of the greatest playoff games I have ever watched and I have seen a ton of them.


As far as the Packers go all I can say is that if they don't fire Capers ASAP then they deserve what ever they get in the future. I know they run a man scheme but at some point (like half time for instance) when you are getting killed by a running QB you have to start throwing in some zone coverage. In zone all eyes remain on the QB vs man where the player turns his back and runs with the player he is assigned to cover. Yes, you can have a designated spy using a LB but I would have just played more zone coverage and preach gap containment.

While I am not, nor have ever been a fan of the 49rs, I do like Jim and always have. I liked him when he was with the Bears and even met him a few times (at training camp and after a game) and got his autograph. He was always a very nice guy and very appreciative of the fans. Wanstadt (whom I will dislike forever!) chased him off of the team. I never liked that and was glad to see him have some success with the Colts and now in coaching. And I have to admit that I do love Kaepernick! There is just something about him that I really like both as a person and as a player. So now I will be pulling for the 49rs and the Ravens for the Harbaugh Bowl.
