I loved the casting of SR. The real stinker with Superman films is, it's all Lex, Lex, Lex--even in the Reeve series, you can see where they could have easily used Brainiac or Bizarro in later sequels.
Regarding the Nolan trilogy: I do not think time will be kind to this version. The films and performances certainly do not hold up to repeat viewing for me. I like Batman and want to like these films, but they just don't engage me. They seem bloated & soulless.
