When I was in NYC, there was one theatre (and mom knew where it was, but I don't remember), that showed nothing but Disney movies every summer and they called it "The Disney Summer Hit Parade". They advertised it on TV every week. I can remember the velvet rope lines of moms and kids. It was a quarter for kids, and I think 50 cents for the grown-ups. My mom and I used to sneak in snacks. Maybe someone who grew up in NYC in the 70s can help me w/ the name of the theatre and what street it was on.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I went on a rare trip to the mall recently and it is no where near as fun as it once was.

              I missed walking into:
              Waldon Books
              Kaybee Toys
              Time Out arcade
GameStop (it was something eles in the early nineties)
              B. Dalton books

There was also another game store that i cant remember also the music store is gone. There was a time when i could spend hours at the mall and not get bored. The place looks kind of deserted now.
