With Smith, they would have won by only three points...

I feel bad for Smith. He is a better qb than the current starter for several teams (Arizona dreams of having SF's problems!). But that doesn't change the fact that Kap is probably the more talented today, and certainly the guy with higher long term potential.

Agreed, I also feel bad for Smith, it must be really tough for him, especially since the Niners were winning, but coach Harbaugh know what he's doing, and the QB switch had some serious thought behind it, football is not about being fair, but about what's best for the team, and obviously, the Niner organization feels that Kaepernick is their best option on winning a champioship, and not Smith.

I feel bad for Alex, and the ramifications of losing your job because you were honest about a head injury are not good. There's also something kind of weird and reckless about Harbaugh in this whole thing, but maybe he's just weird for the media.

Still, I'm wayyyyy more excited watching Kap than Alex, and the offense is really energized.

Harbaugh is a Weird and Reckless imo. But a Weird and Reckless Winner. This is Not a Coach of Yesterdays....., There's Probably No Coach that would Play Kap over Smith , but Him.
