Yeah,.. every Team Cheats, & Every Team does it. Interesting How the NFL did not Fine every Team, nore strip every team of a Draft Pick either. How foolish of them just to pick on the Patriots.

Actually the 1948 Cleveland Browns went undefeated. In fact, it happened in the middle of a 29-game winning streak. BUT... at that time the Browns played in the All-American Football Conference and, although the NFL recognizes records from the American Football League, it does not from the AAFC.
The Bears had 2 undefeated regulars seasons only to lose both times in the championship game (1934, 1942).WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.Comment

Bob Griese was out most of the season with a broken bone in his leg. They continued to win with their backup quarterback...not sure if the Patriots could have matched that."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

Ok this is what I know.
Superbowl wins mean everything records mean nothing...
The best of all time had to be the Blond Bomber 4 Superbowl wins ,,,eat me Brady!Bradshaw remains alone at the top of Superbowl wins everything eles is just a cheeseburger.
Sorry guys I had to Speek up for my favorite hillbilly Bradshaw the original get er done guy. Hes not pretty ,hes not smart but by God hes funny.
Yeah leveing the Browns out and Steelers kinda matters. Got to give it up to Miami they over came adversity not to mention they played the game back in the day when the game was viciously played. thats got to mean something. Remeber this as well back then, it was a more run based defence game. Recevers wernt able to run free without being punished for each catch. I truely beleve if Lynn Swan played in todays game he would have had alot more touchdowns and catches like alot of other recevers that played back then. Compareing records from then to now is silly ,its not the same game.Last edited by Captain_Mego; Feb 6, '08, 12:36 PM.Comment

The Dolphins undefeated season was the same year that Franco Harris had the "Immaculate Reception". The Steelers and Browns were both formidable teams and the Redskins were no slouch of a team in the Super Bowl and were even favored to win despite the Dolphins undefeated season."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
