Patriots fans, you can take heart in knowing you lost to the best team in the NFL this season. Congratulations for winning more in a single season than the 1972 Dolphins. I am sure they thank you as well. Congratulations for being the only team to go 18-1 and NOT win the Superbowl. The 49ers and the Bears thank you. Being part of the biggest upset in NFL History. The Giants and I thank you. The 2nd best team in NFL history??? I think not. Besides the 4 teams I just mentioned, there are 38 other Lombardi Trophy winners that have rings to prove otherwise (heck, Brady even owns a couple of them). It don't mean diddly if you don't win the big dance.
Ha ha ha! they won more games then the 72 Phins and the 07 Phins combined but that still equals no SB win so my Phins were still better

The Pats got outplayed and outclassed. Randy Moss looked like he was going to throw a fit like the little baby that he is, and nice move on the part of Belichick leaving the field. Congrats to the winners.

Guess this book won't se the light of day now.

To all the true Giants fans on here, a heartfelt congratulations. Your team was the better team last night and deserved to win. It was a gutsy performance.

I am not a Giants fan, but the New York-Boston rivalry is a thing to behold. Here in NY, everyone is saying the universe has righted itself and all is back to proper alignment.

I think the first Yankees-Red Sox series is in May

Ok here it is season run down:
Pats got cought cheating and now we know they been doing it for a long time.
I know what Pats fans will say.
                    Everyones doing it ?
But the fact is they got cought and not everyone else.
Im not going to assume everyone is a cheater just becasue they got cought.
You cant assume anything and you certanly cant accuse other teams when theres no proff of it.

Bottom line the Pats refused to make it right and apologise for cheating.
In fact BELECHECK ran scores up, refused to shake hands of oponites and set out to teach eveyone a lesson.
                    For what?
                    Getting cought cheating.
                    To top it off .
Belecheck, I think acutaly felt the leauge should apalogise to him for cathcing him.
I think after Him leveing the feild early last night was the topping to a low class performance this year he put on dispaly for all to see.

They honestly expected the Giants to lay down for them.
I was told yesterday by a Pats fan how do you expect the GIANTS to win when the Pats have so much talent?
I responded heart! thats how heart.
The Pittsburg Steelers have won many games on heart alone and I beleve the Giants have this thing called heart as well.

So Congrats to all you Giant fans.
You guys had a great season and the biggest heart .
Enjoy your win you diserve it .
There was no luck involved just pride and heart.

ps. I really do feel badly for you guys that arnt happy about the cheating.
I know I would be ****ed if our coach did that . The team is bigger than one mans agendas for greatness and willingness to cheat to acheve it.

Belecheck set out to teach everyone a lesson this year, but in the end he got tought the lesson. Cheaters dont win.

After Brady threw that last desperation pass to Moss and the game ended, the first thing that went through my mind was this..."Thank God that didn't happen to my Dallas Cowboys." After feeling so bad watching Dallas lose to the Giants, suddenly I felt fortunate. To go 18-0 and LOSE the Superbowl is a nightmare one can never escape. No matter what they do from here on out, including winning another Superbowl, they will always be remembered as a team that didn't finish off the perfect season...and that sucks. Make no doubt, the Giants deserved it and earned it every step of the way. I just feel sorry for the Patriots because to be on the cusp on something that tremendous and to now be viewed as something considerably less, is just tragic in it's most basic form. I played the game and I still hurt from close games my team lost. I can't fathom the pain this must bring the Patriots. It's nightmarish...

The Giants D-Line was amazing Tom was on his but more this game than the hole season. You can't throw the ball on your but. Even when they whern't scoring the Giants looked better than the pats. With allthe years as a Red Sox fan I'm used to saying this "Wait till next year."

Congrats to the Giants. Since I am a die hard Redskins fan, it really didn't matter to me who won although I was routing for the Giants because I really didn't want to see the Dolphins undefeated season get matched (even if if was the Redskins who lost Super Bowl VII).

I honestly thought the game could have gone either way and were dead evenly matched. It seemed to me that one of the Patriots big problems is they didn't do anything to catch anyone by surprise. It was the same old screen passing, hitting Moss on one on ones, etc. that we have seen all season. It worked with limited success but the Giants were well prepared for it.

And I give props to the fact that history was made last night. First time brothers have become Super Bowl MVP's and even more importantly in back-to-back seasons which to me is of more historical importance than the Patriots fantastic run.

My wife purchased a really nice DVD set for me at Christmas which has highlights of every single football season from SB1 all the way to SBXL.

I wanted to watch the historic Dolphins season and it was a great dvd. I was surprised to hear even with the undefeated season, that the Dolphins were 3 point underdogs in SB7 so despite the undefeated season, most of the odds were that the pressure would get to them and they would not be able to beat the Redskins.

With My emotion's running high...what I'd really like to say in this Tread, would get Me banned. Wanna talk cheating...how about when one of the Pats got the Ball, landed completely on His Stomach...and 2 or 3 Giants rolled Him onto His back...and ripped the Ball from Him? Where was the Whistle??? Or the Giants push off inside the Face Mask of a Pat...to make the catch...no call from the Reff's??

And finally...Manning got just plain lucky with that last "hail Mary" throw at the end.
