I remember it took forever to convince my folks to get me one because my dad (somewhat correctly) predicted I would want the next better thing that came along. Remember being really disappointed with the Pac-Man conversion. Games getting a lot of play included (that I remember) were Pitfall, Space Invaders, Kangaroo, Pressure Cooker and towards the end Popeye.
No system upgrades until the Nintendo came out since I convinced my folks it was be all, end all: a system that reasonably translated arcade games.Comment

I've had an Atari since 77 and I've been collecting for it ever since...Hands down my favorite system....Adventure is probably my favorite game of all time. I've collected over 400 carts and kinda hit a brick wall. Anyway, here's a few pics of some of my collection.....

That is a really good collection. If someone did have an Atari version of ZooKeeper it would be you. I still swear I played a home version of it, but I guess not, lol.
I have emulators of the atari games but nothing beats a real atari. I think it actually adds to it to play one on a old television.Comment

Thanks, but 180 is a huge collection too.....after about 150 carts or so, it gets REALLY tough to find new games...*bows down to Nazgul* I thought my collection was big w/ 180 games, but man yours is GINORMOUS!!!
Thanks...do it, even as old and dated as these games are, they are still (for the most part) a blast to play!Awesome collection. I had forgot about some of those games. I am going to have to seek them out now.
I remember talking about Zookeeper with you before....I still haven't been able to find any info if it was ever released on any home system....my guess would be the Commodore 64 if anything...That is a really good collection. If someone did have an Atari version of ZooKeeper it would be you. I still swear I played a home version of it, but I guess not, lol.
Its almost a neccesity to play these on an old tube TV, IMO...It just doesn't look right on these widesceen, flatpanel tvs...I have emulators of the atari games but nothing beats a real atari.
