Same way you are, I boil them till they are nice and soft, then drown them in butter and salt.

I strip them, foil them, and BBQ them. Nothing added. BBQ gives a nice flavor

I prefer boiled over grilled, they come out much juicier, but grilled are good too.

I like them with butter, salt, and with either chili powder or paprika, yum.

Oh, and I love to eat my corn alongside a tall glass of ice cold milk, lol.

            why peel them?
the husk seals all the moisture in and keeps it nice and sweet.
rinse 'em off and just set 'em on your heat source - I put them on the grill after the meat comes off while I'm putting things together, or use a big cast iron skillet if I'm inside. Heat for 5-6 minutes is all so they stay crunchy. Yeah.

Man, with good sweet corn you barely have to cook it--you can almost eat it raw. I just drop mine in boiling water for like a minute or two.

always BBQ. butter, garlic, wrap them in foil for a few hours than cook away.

                    Very juicy!

This is true, but for some reason, I just like mine really soft, even if it's the water causing it. I'm usually a purist when it come to cooking too.

The wife says she puts 1/4 cup of sugar in the water for every 4 ears.

That's the way my mom cooked it, and I love it. Had some last night!!!

In the microwave, 2 ears 6-7 min in the husks. they ciome out great. The best thing is they stay hot until you husk them, which is super easy stand on end grab top of husk and peel down all comes off with one try.

During the summer, I grill mine with the husks on.
