Wow, I didn't realize they would go that far down the rabbit hole of geekery. If this show does become a success, how much closer does that make a reality show based on the Mego Museum when they come looking for the next one? Shoot the pilot at Mego Meet.

Believe-it-or-not they have a podcast and are about 60% more unlikeable. The show was also way too long. 30 minutes w/plenty of commericals seems about right.

I like your posts and tend to agree with you...so you are in good company.

The flea market segments almost sent me into a coma...lol.

The Mego/SMDM segment was cool...but then it was ruined by the fact that the Megos were totally ignored.

It's Pawn Star for geeks...but focuses too much in their between "bickering" and jokes on each other...it gets annoying after a while.

But it was the pilot...I'll give it a couple more viewings.

The blonde chick who came in with the chuckie doll, is a big time baby doll collector......she has tons of them all over her house and she calls all her dolls her family members, she's a bit out there. She was profiled on another show.......

I enjoyed it. For me it was cool seeing the real Dante and Randall (Walt and Bryan) in action. I can't be too critical because it's 'reality TV' where all of them are staged and nothing is truly spontaneous. It's the nature of television production.

I'd think that Detective 35 would be worth more than the sketch, no matter the condition. You just don't see them much. I guessing it's easier to find a Kane Batman sketch than a copy of that comic.

All shows like these are staged, but this was so poorly shot that there wasn't even an illusion of reality.

I did enjoy the guy with the beard, breaking the plates at the flea market.

Some of the pod cast banter was enjoyable, and it was funny seeing the movie memorabilia guy deflate the guy with the zombie poster and photos. Maybe they should give that guy a show.

Overall, it was disappointing. I hope Palitoy is right about the show possibly improving, but I'm probably still going to watch the next episode because its got comics and action figures and is on TV.
