What made my jaw drop is when they were talking about the Halle Berry Catwoman Barbie and they were ticking off the women that played Catwoman and left out Julie Newmar.... JULIE NEWMAR!!! I DVR it and scan through the episode in less than 10 minutes though so I might've missed it but yikes!

I chuckled about the Maskatron thing. And it's a little of a gray area because there was no villian saying "I am Maskatron" in the show but Maskatron was definataly based on the robot imposter they had in the show. Kevin claims to be a SMDM fan and should've known.

Caught it channel surfing as I stopped taping it, the Maskatron comment bugs me cause now it's gospel.

Amazing that those four stumble on the world's greatest garage sale complete with Mego figures and a Frankenstein bike buddy.

As soon as walking dead went off and those goons came on, i couldn't change the channel fast enough.

Okay... so on the first show they had no interest at all in a boxed circle suit Spiderman and a Robin I believe it was but tonight they get all gooey - giddy over a loose, Kirk, Spock, Spidey and Green Arrow? The level of stupid is really off the charts with these guys.

All hope is indeed dead when it comes to this show. Schmucks.

I thought the same immediately on the Maskatron. This show is for people with no clue. It's full of made up facts and prices.

...And that comes, not from an expert, or someone who really cares because it's not valid to my life today, but someone reaching back to when he was 8 yrs old and watched the original airing of the show. Funny, I still remember how creeped out as I was realizing that Steve Austin's best friend was just a robot. I don't think they ever located his "real" old friend. I just have a vivid-picture long term memory on allot from my childhood. Maybe the 'experts' got it confused with Dr KromeDome.

I believe I saw that show once. But I still remember it. Kind of disappoints me they got this so wrong. First impressions and all.

Been out of loop on this stuff but tuned in for first time this evening for no more than 30 seconds and maskatron never existed on smdm? Wrong. Episodes featuring John Saxon.

Our local comic store seems to be doing fine. I usually pop in a couple of times a month during my lunch hour and there are usually a few other customers there. The owner is not your sterotype comic shop dealer. Very knowledgeable and is very much into educating as opposed to try to quick sell. He also picked a good location for his shop. It's in an area that isn't off the beaten path but not in an area where I think the rent would be too high either.

Absolutely, I see plenty of women shopping in there all the time. The store has a very female- and family-friendly atmosphere. Well lit, not too cramped or cluttered, it doesn't give that weird, creepy vibe that some places do.

There was stuff there I never would have imagined finding anywhere else... Maybe Comics Relief in Berkeley?
The owner got into financial problems and had to close down.......he then rented a space in the back of Bleeker records in the village. then I saw him no more.....
