I'm from Cali and a die hard LA Lakers fan and to our LA standards, the Lakers right now are a mediocre team. Even Dalls Mavs are to.

Lin is Asian-AMERICAN. I said Asian-AMERICAN. Lin was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Palo Alto, California.

Ming is a Chinese citizen from mainland China.

what are you talking about bro? wasn't Yao born in NYC?

My point was that Asian people are respected, if they're good

I knew this story was big but it has really reached new heights. I belong to a site that does online surveys. One of the surveys was about ESPN's big time oops regarding Lin! They are obviously now in major damage control as I have never seen anything quite like this as far as magnitude to the point where they are doing surveys about it.

Most of the time all they want to know is what soap I like or which stores I shop for clothes at.

I think he bounced back pretty well after the lousy game he had against the Heat before the All Star break.
