One bad game...and now some are on the "let's chop his head off" mode already...lol.

Even great players like LeBron have had bad games.

This bad performance doesn't mean anything...he's has nine solid games and one bad one...let's not bury the guy already, lol.

Yes, Lin's gotta work on those turnovers...but that will come by playing more...the dude is only 23 years old...basically a rookie...he's learning on the job.

No shame on getting schooled by arguably the best team in the NBA either.

The Kid obviously got game...he just needs more experience...that will come over time.

Is he all star material down the line? The odds are probably not (Ricky Rubio will have a better career)...but he's no journeyman either.

I think there's a wiiiiide canyon between being a journeyman and an all-star and that canyon is filled with hundreds of players like Lin. Just as you can say 1 bad game (and it's now more than one) doesn't mean he's now done the same can be said that a nice little 8-9 game streak doesn't mean he's going to be a player.

The New York talk radio shows were basically saying there's 3 possible scenarios for tonight's game..
If the Knicks play hard and win then its a feel good bonus for them.
If the Knicks are competitive and loose they still have a moral victory to hang their hat on.
If the Knicks get grossly outplayed and embarrassed, all of a sudden they look like a not yet ready for prime time team.

I don't care which one it was but I'm sure Ill here about it all day tomorrow because it's all either of the stations here are talking about right now. It's driving me crazy or um, Linsane....but not in a good way.

I listen to the Michael Kay Show every day on ESPN Radio and I swear he did about 3 hours of his 4 hour radio show on the Knicks today. He talked about the Yankees for 10 minutes, had John Tortorella on for an 8 minute interview and covered how Rex Ryan was humbled today because he ate his prediction that the Jets would win the Super Bowl last year for about 10 minutes. The rest of the day was just LIN LIN LIN, the knicks, and commercials. Not cool.

            One bad game.

Even on that other loss...he still played pretty good...albeit the turnovers.

I'm not going to diss on the kid...like I said...he's a great story...an Asian-American FINALLY getting a little respect in American sports (and endured a lot of racial insults from opposing team crowds in college)...like I said before...he's basically a rookie learning on the job...he's a young pup...he is not a thug, he's a hardworking young lad that never gave up...he wasn't handed anything on a silver platter...he didn't get a scholarship...yet still managed to attend Harvard...and graduated...unlike many who come out straight from high school and straight to the pros...or others who get college scholarships and abuse the system...I have a lot more respect for Jeremy Lin than the vast majority of NBA players...period.

well said hector!! not bad for a rookie who's only played 20 games so far and has helped give the knicks a boost in the standings!

This is a simple case of the media and analysts getting too far ahead of themselves.

During that run of good games he had he was playing mediocre teams! In the face of a potential Championship team he got rattled and had too many mistakes.

Give him more time, experience, and maturity and he will eventually live up to the type of player he can be. He had no confidence last night against Wade, Bosh, and Lebron so he passed the ball off to Carmelo who took garbage shots

If you are a long time basketball fan this should be nothing new!

come on more respect then Yao Ming got here you can't give...he was voted into the all star game over Shaq in his prime which was total BS...so I don't think it's about respect..there's always gonna be haters..I like the kid as well, and do hope he has a solid career..Just not against Miami

I was gonna say he's more of a Tebow type player, even though he puts up monster numbers at times...but he finds a way to win...Plus they mentioned in the game yesterday that the dude had a Nike contract while at Harvard, so people obviously knew he had some skill...we'll see how he rebounds from this...but for now he get's a

as long as Carmelo is playing, Lins numbers won't be as strong.
