The first Christmas gift you asked for

I asked my mom for a Millennium Falcon - as I recall. I don't know if it was the first, but I remember a lot of begging and promise making was involved that probably lasted several months.

Another item I was going crazy for one year was a Muppets drum set.

My memory is a bit sketchy on this. I know for the longest time I asked for a U.S.S. Enterprise toy. The model kit was all there was and didn't seem to be available for a short time. The Dinky toy was around but I'm not sure if it was too pricey for my parents to buy or if they just didn't know about it. I got the model eventually. I played with it a lot and the engines had to be re-attached at least once.

I recall making a long list of Mego figures out one year. My parents couldn't afford most of them, (tho at the time they were 3.99 or so each!?!?!). I did get the Treks and Spidey, Supes, Batman & Robin but they might not have been all in the same X-Mas year.

Every year..

Every year, i would ask "Santa" for the Enterprise Playset and figs....NEVER got it...till this year (x-mas)...That was a LOOOOONG 39 year wait....I can wait another 30 or so days....hehe..

Were their Star Wars Kenner Toys in Christmas 1977??? I dont think Kenner made the deadline the only thing offered was the Early Bird kit cardboard cutout with the promise of 4 action figures in Spring 1978

One that I can specifically recall asking for when I was 3 (4 at the oldest) is the Fisher Price Sesame Street Clubhouse. I asked Santa for it.
