When you're really little, the concept of Christmas, (no matter what your beliefs), kinda escapes you. But usually by age 3 kids are at least getting the idea that they can ask for stuff and sometimes get it. When I was 3, I clearly remember asking for a Baby Catch-a-Ball doll:

Having a doll that played ball w/ you was an exciting concept for a preschooler! I have another story about this doll, but I'll save that for another time.
So, Mego or not, what's the first present you clearly recall asking Mommy, Daddy or even Santa Claus for?
