I don't even remember which CD was my first as I was buying a lot when they first came out. Probably something heavy without a doubt.
Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

I bought "The Grand Illusion" by Styx, and the Vision Quest soundtrack for my first cd purchase. I didn't have a cd player until '89.

I do remember. It was the soundtrack to the original Star Wars. I still have it plus the newer version. Nerd Alert!

            Heck, yeah!
I still have a boxful of those. That was so the record stores could rack the CDs in the same bins where they used to have LPs. Used to go to Record Theatre all the time. I remember how the CDs just took over the store like a weed and the LPs sections got smaller and smaller. I was surprised to see an actual Record Theatre still in business when I was last in Buffalo. I thought they all went under.

Let It Be by the Beatles. My dad actually bought it for me when i bought my first CD player at some point in the late 80's.
