Omelettes are a great way to clean out the fridge. Just about any kind of veggie or meat can be thrown in there.
One of my favorite dishes is a 1/4 cup of caramelized onions, 8 ounces of browned hamburger meat, 2 eggs and a 1/2 cup of frozen spinach. Makes 2 to 4 servings.
Add a couple of dashes of hot sauce and that's good eating. Sometimes I make a sandwich out of it with toasted rye bread.
High protein and veggies, too.Comment

Hey...I'll gladly pay a little extra for eggs if I know the chickens are being treated more humanly.
What's wrong with letting them roam freely in an open environment than being stacked up against each other like canned sardines?
It even pertains to the actual consumption of chickens...that's why I make an effort to only buy free range chickens.
Just imagine the urine and feces of the caged chickens...terrible...
I can't agree with you more.
You truly are...the Champion of Chickens.....

Thanks for your efforts to get this thread back on track. This thread had more drift than a Fast and Furious movie!
