What a complete and utter waste of time this morning...Today would be a good day for an invasion from Mars because all of our reporters are over in the UK...We'd never see it coming....

When their engagement was announced there was a lot of reporting about how she set out to marry him and everything she did to seduce him, i couldn't help thinking she sounded like a psycho stalker.
I still can't get that thought out of my head.

Day off work, excuse for a beer and to generally relax. seems a good reason to go along with it all in my book.
To be honest, until yesterday, I haven't really been bothered, but somehow it's taken me in. Yeah, it's just another royal wedding, but the thing that I like to see is the way our capital city is transformed into a mass of joyous people on occasions like this.
Whilst a lot of the royals seem to most to be sat on their backsides doing sweet f.a. it's kinda good to know that he'll be back at work soon flying the air/sea search and rescue helicopters.
I think this has captured peoples imagination a bit more than usual this time because she really is the girl next door, not the usual landed gentry that is more commonly associated with marrying into royalty.
I've enjoyed it as a casual onlooker today.

I think more because most know he will someday become King ... unlike Charles which most people figured he'd stay Prince his whole life.

That's where I'm at with it. God bless their hearts and I hope they have long, happy lives together, but it has nothing to do with me.

I've never really thought about that before, but that's true. It's not like we know much about the Swedish or Jordanian royal families, f.ex

A bummer that England did not go through a French revolution.

I guess I'm the only American here that has watched the wedding and loved all the pomp and spectical. The British surely know how to do it right and I'm enjoying it quite a lot. Congatulations to the new couple and bravo to Great Britain for putting on a great show!

It's the same as the Kenney's

I could never understand why so many people followed/follow them so close.
