I remember one guy didn't want to give me cash for some comics he won because I shared the same first name as a guy who lived in Toronto who ripped him off before. This is my FIRST name, remember. He thought it was too strange a coincidence.

He lived in Oakland Cal., so I asked him if there were other ebayers who liked comics with HIS first name in Oakland. He said 'sure' - so I reminded him that Toronto had 10 times the population of Oakland. Everything went fine after that.

It's sad, but when people don't know anything about a place except something bad it taints them. Human nature I guess.
