Hawaii is not part of a BCS Conference, and they do play a major roll in picking their schedule. A few years ago, Tulane went 12-0 and finished somewhere around #7. This is the same scenario, Hawaii should have picked a couple major powerhouses (ie USC, Org, etc), and I could see it if they were still undefeated.
