Cuervo Gold is the preferred tequila for Spring breakers...because it's available by the millions...and it's dirt cheap.

For mixing drinks...then Cuervo Gold is ok...although I personally prefer the entry level Sauza Blanco for mixed drinks...

        This is a great mid-level priced tequila...Cazadores...

I probably buy this the most...great tequila...but without the price of el Patrón...and a tad cheaper than Tres Generaciones...

Okay now we are on the same level then cause it was cuervo gold and pink lemonade...yummy...

I also love the Cazadore...Still never tried the 3 generations stuff though.I will try it sometime after the holidays.
Plus where I grew up you had a choice of one of the three;Jose cuervo gold, mescals or potters tequila and you don't want mescals or potters.
mescals isn't even tequila so you only had two choices..LOL

Oh yeah, Mezcal...the other white meat...lol.

Yeah...nothing wrong with Cuervo Gold for mixing...I just don't dig it as a stand alone drink...that's all.

Hey...have you ever tried a Paloma?

Contrary to popular belief...the Margarita is not Mexico's most popular mixed drink...it's the Paloma (similar to your tequila/lemonade drink)...

It's basically tequila, grapefruit soda (like Squirt or Jarritos), a squeeze of lime...and some salt on the brim of the glass...poured over ice...delicious...

But be careful...it goes down like a regular pop drink...so take it easy...

That stuff will probably make my car run better than with gasoline...

I gave up Tequila in high school......got so sick and blacked out for several hours. can't even take the smell anymore and it's been like 20 years....

i will just stick with my beer, and the occasional shot of Jaeger Meister.

I'm surprised no one has done a Tila Tequila joke yet.

This is probably going to make me look way out of it, but I have no idea what that is
