I love you to death brother, but Jim Plunkett??? You have GOT to be kidding me...
SC
No...I'm NOT kidding...and you can take that to the bank.
I'm basing it upon many factors...true...overall...his entire career was hot and cold (perhaps even mediocre)...but for that one season...he was the baddest QB on Earth...me an Oaklander...rooting for a fellow Latino...a quarterback...a RAIDER...come on man...get real...lol.
Plunkett led the Raiders to four playoff victories, including the first-ever victory by a wild card team in the Super Bowl, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 27–10 in Super Bowl XV. Throwing for 261 yards and three touchdowns, Plunkett was named the game's MVP; subsequently, Plunkett has the distinction of being the first minority to quarterback a team to a Super Bowl victory and the only Hispanic to be named Super Bowl MVP. In addition to this, he became the second of four players to win the Heisman Trophy and Super Bowl MVP, Roger Staubach before him and Marcus Allen, and Desmond Howard after him.
P.S. Don't ever say that in Oakland...I don't want you to disappear from the face of the Earth...
Since some of the older QB's like Unitas and Namath have been mentioned; Sammy Baugh has to be top two or three on the list. The stats speak for themselves. He took the Redskins to 5 NFL championship games (pre Super Bowl) and won 2. He also was a quadruple threat. He was a great quarterback, great runner, he also was the Redskins punter and still holds the record for single season punting average (over 50 yards per punt) and played as a safety on defense. I can't think of anyone else ever to play the game to have this many records.

Joe Montana
Johnny Unitas
Terry Bradshaw
Roger Staubach
Bart Starr
Dan Marino
John Elway
Peyton Manning
Ken Stabler
Fran Tarkenton
Archie Manning Poor guy was on horrible teams but Great QB
Best I've seen:
1. Joe Montana
2. John Elway
3. Peyton Manning
4. Tom Brady
5. Brett Favre
6. Dan Marino
7. Steve Young
8. Troy Aikman
9. Kurt Warner
10. Jim Kelly
I like your list except Warner (didint play long enuff IMO)
Replace him with Jim Kelly
Warner played more season than Kelly. Kelly's stats are a tad bit better, but they are comparable (Kelly has more yards, more TDs....Warner has a better completion rate and higher passer rating.)
