Is that the one where Ralph is supposed to fight him in a boxing ring over some girl?

It seemed like everyone wanted to beat the crap out of Ralph.

Just saw the first "Mork" episode last night.....Still holds up as I remembered it. But I don't care for the way The Hub trims seconds from scenes here and there....

I could have sworn when Richie is interviewing Mork he asks "So you're Mork....from Ork....every been to New York?" Mork is confused, Richie explains it's a joke and then Mork says his "Humor....Arh Arh" line.

Instead all we get is "So you're Mork....from Ork" and then it skips to another set of lines in the interview.

At least I think I'm remembering it correctly....and if I am, it's very jarring when they snip stuff here and there...

I didn't see it last night but I used to hate the syndicated version because they'd cut out the entire last bit with Mork reporting back to his planet.

In the syndicated version it was left as all just Ritchie's dream.

              Worst editing EVER.

The 50's in the 70's what a concept. And I agree with AJ Collector about the Odd Couple as well. Two very awesome sitcoms.

Love that show. All the characters were great. I also remember talking about it in the playground at recess time. RIP Tom Bosley. You are missed!!

From what I've discovered, the original ending was just Richie's dream. When the show was rerun that summer they added the "Mork calling Orson" tag at the end because "Mork and Mindy" was debuting that fall. In fact the scene has Mork referencing a new assignment in the year 1978.

Some syndication prints use the original ending and some use the revised verison. The revised one is what I remember so I was glad to see that's the one The Hub used.

Yeah,I remember that part as well. It's like someone telling a joke and there's no punchline.

So if last night's episode (from Season 6) "Westward Ho" was shown one year earlier instead of the Season 5 opener "Hollywood"....we may now be using the phrase "Rode the Bull" instead of "Jumped the Shark"

I saw that flipping through the channels last night. It seems that's when it started to lose it's 50s feel. Looking at the way they dressed,it had more of a 70s vibe instead.

I've been watching some of the eps this week, and I been thinking back to when some of these were like events on ABC. Eps like The Claw and The Kissing Bandit, as well as the multi-parters were really built up all week by that cool announcer on ABC (what was his name?), and you couldn't wait to watch, and then you couldn't wait to talk about them in school the following day. How I miss the days when ordinary TV could seem special.
