I don't have much in the way of my original toys. A couple of bears and a stuffed Charlie brown from toddler hood. But, I have managed to pick up both a carded 1982 gi Joe "zap" figure and a boxed stretch Armstrong.
The zap doesn't even really give me toy nostalgia but reminds me of my mom bringing him home for me as a treat. I'll have to remember to do the same when I have kids, as some random toy might be creating one of their favorite memories.

Why am I finding this topic hard to answer? In my head I am seeing myself playing with a number of great toys but since I no longer have that same mind set I cannot find one single toy that has the most sentimental value to me

However I can find some collections that even if I sold everything else I own, these are going to stay with me until I am dead:

Mobile action command- I still have quite a few of my own that were purchased for me some 30 odd years ago and I still have a nice collection given to me by a friend who moved away back in 83. I really loved this toyline. Had that kind of sci-fi adventure tech feel to it

My rubber monster/jiggler collection. These were also among some of the first toys I had.
Everything in this was some sort of mutant monster version (or back then my Godzilla figures before I had a real Godzilla) set to plague mankind in some way. I can still recall
where many of them were purchased and the wonderful times I had playing with them

close runner ups would be Mattel’s Godzilla’s gang since that gave me my first true looking Godzilla toy (I cannot count that green bendy we had in the US)

        and fisher price’s adventure people

My Mego Muhammad Ali figure. Although I don't have my original I was finally able to get a nicely carded one a few years ago. Ali is my all time favorite boxer and when he came out in 76 it was high on my christmas list. I begged my Mom to get it for me, I remember the joy I had opening him up on Christmas day.
