"Trauma Center" with Lou Ferrigno. He played a paramedic. I believe one episode was a cross-over with "The Fall Guy."
- IanRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment

Duck Factory was the Jim Carrey show, but I remember not liking it for some reason.
I used to watch Delta House all the time, too. Another one from a movie that I really liked as a TV show was Operation Petticoat with the pink sub. John Astin was the Captain in the show. I remember one line that still makes me giggle. They needed to patch a hole that was letting water in and they used a sheet of ply wood. One of the crew asks do you think that it is safe to use wood to plug the hole? To which John Astin sarcastically responds "Ya know they are thinking of making boats out of wood now"
Probably why it never lasted more than one seasonIt's all good!Comment

If it wasn't for the internet, I would have been sure I made the whole thing up... I have never found anyone who remembers it. But I *loved* an 80s sci-fi show called "Otherworld". The premise was about a family being transported via a pyramid to an alternate earth, and them trying to find their way home. Also, there was some sort of cop on the family's trail that they were constantly on the run from... as was all the rage on TV in those days (A Team, The Incredible Hulk, etc.)
...Oh, and just to echo what others have said about "American Gothic"... it is criminal that it never caught on with audiences. And that young kid on the show was such a fantastic actor.Comment

I liked Code Red. Good Sunday night viewing.
Speaking of Sunday nights, anyone remember this really dopey show on Fox called "Get A Life" w/ Chris Elliott? It's about a grown man living w/ his parents and has a paper route. I find that hysterically funny since he played another guy who lived at home and couldn't grow up on "Everybody Loves Raymond"."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

I was always drawn to the sci-fi action genre, but they were so poorly produced they never lasted more than a few episodes.
Automan - Reminded me of Tron, which I'm sure was a large inspiration. The 90-degree turn/faceplant schtick was cool for one episode, but got old.
Manimal - Dude could turn into different animals. Wow.
Street Hawk - Secret agent cop riding a Megaforce bike painted black. HOw many shows can you milk from this premise?
The Equalizer - Now here's a show I really, really liked. I have no idea why, but I never missed an episode. I'd probably hate it now.
Airwolf - How many times can you save the day in a helecopter? Three.
The Pretender - I don't know of another human being who liked this show as much as I did. I don't even know anyone who ever watched it besides me. I have got to get the collected DVD comps.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment

Time Traxx about a cop from the future who comes back to our time to capture escaped time criminals before they change the past. He used to communicate with his superiors in the future by placing ads in the classified section of the newspaper.
I believe the actor's name is Dale Midkiff.
