    LeBron

I'm finding it very amusing with all the backlash and negative reaction. I can't believe there is so much anger regarding this. Since I typically enjoy chaos and watching rich people make fools of themselves, this has been an entertaining day. I think pretty much every player in this whole deal was a loser, and that makes me smile.

Lebron - He took a giant, slightly wet steaming dump all over the city of Cleveland. He had this hour long special to basically stick it to the city he played in for seven years without really telling them of his decision prior to going on air. That was an chump move, period. However, he did fulfill the term of his contract and was under no obligation to re-sign. His legacy will forever be tarnished by his inability to win a ring without changing cities to play with his buddies. BIrd, Magic, Michael and now Kobe didn't have to do that. Bottom line: loser

Cleveland - Get used to sports obscurity again. It'll be a few years before Holmgren turns the Browns into a powerhouse, so be patient. Bottom line: loser

Dan Gilbert - What a d-bag. That e-mail tirade he sent to anyone who gives a crap is telling of his character. With all the negative stuff about James this dude wrote, how in the world could he possibly be disappointed he didn't re-sign? If you hate James so much, if you think he's the biggest piece of crap and that he bailed out in the playoffs, then don't try to renew his contract and don't cry nationwide about it. bottom line: big-time loser and jerk

Miami - You just inherited the circus, folks. Get ready for 24 hour coverage of everything Lebron. Finally, you'll be able to see LBJ shave, scratch his scrotum and find out what he had for breakfast. There will be a camera at all times around him, and he'll dominate all news media in the city. You will be so sick of hearing about him you'll wish he stayed in Ohio.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Sounds like the typical stuff coming out of Ohio, a state that has not won anything since I was born 46 years.

When players get cut and traded they get no notice most of the time. It's the way it works. He gave Ohio 7 years of his life on the court, his contract was up. He took 30 million less to play in Miami, that is completely unheard of these days. He wants to play with his friends and a organization and city that know what to do to win. He should be saluted.

Comparing James's situation to Byrd,Magic or Jordan is apples and oranges. Look at who those guys had around them. They didn't need to go anywhere. Cleveland hardly gave James crap to work with.

For me, it's the way he did it, not that he made the move. It was pretty classless. Had he done it the right way, you bet they'd still be sad, but the reaction is just about what you'd expect, given the way he did it.

I know Miami fans are thrilled to see him coming and I would be, too, but Cleveland fans have every right to be hacked off because of the way it went down. It's not sour grapes over his leaving, per se, it's the fact that he basically rubbed their noses in it and then marvelled that they had the audacity to not be appreciative of what he did for their city. It was amazing to watch him crap all over them and then appear uncomfortable because he expected them to just take it.

If I was a Miami fan, it would be in the back of my mind that he just might treat the fans there the same way someday.

It's funny how Miami is seen as the team that wants to win because they dumped all their players, but Cleveland, who made every move that James wanted in his time here, is seen as the worse situation. Cleveland is only in a bad financial situation because of the contracts they took on to help him win. If he had left in a classy way, people wouldn't be quite so bitter, but he stabbed this city through the heart by waiting till the end and doing it on national TV. He could have and should have treated this area better. He was raised 30 minutes from where he played.

I know it's not the Super Bowl, but the Browns won the NFL Championship 46 Years Ago.

I agree, Not sure why he just didn't release it through his agent and call the Cavs at the same time he called Miami. I know he raised a boat load for the kids doing it this way, but hell he could have just donated it.

Obviously, I'm from Cleveland and bitter, but I think everyone would react just a little better if he had exercised some thought for the fans. He could have raised the same money any other way.

I mean if he doesn't bring a title and decides to leave after 5 years then what can you do? It'll be awesome to have the privlage of seeing a superstar like that for the next 5 years

The guy is an absolute beast

You know I love ya', D, but you Florida folks are every bit as blind to the real story as the folks in Ohio are. And that stands to reason because the end result means you won and they lost. Put yourself in their shoes for a minute and realize that this comes down to the way he left.

The truth for you is, and you need to let this sink in a little, how he left and realize that if he doesn't grow up a little bit, he will do the same to you guys, if given the chance. I can't imagine how he could treat his home town fans that way and not crap all over you guys, too, if given the chance. Those fans loved him, he knew that, and he was well-loved enough to have made the move without ripping their hearts out in the manner that he did.

I get it. It doesn't matter so much to you now because his arrival holds all the promise in the world for a Championship.

But, what if that doesn't happen? The way he left Cleveland will mean the whole world of Sports Fans will be saying, "Yep, that's what you get" for the way this went down.

It just didn't have to be this way is all I'm saying.

LeBron turned this into a circus act.

This all could've been taken care of privately...but nooooooo...he had to have a prime time ESPN special on his decision.

And while I agree the Cavs' owner sounded like sour grapes...LeBron should've told him beforehand that he was not staying...not announcing it to the world like that...a complete diss on the Cavs organization.
