In town we had Toma's, Cumberland Farms and The Gamma Room.
I also frequented Barrel of Fun, The Game Room(both at Latham Circle Mall), Aladdins Castle(Colonie Center), Park Place(Crossgates Mall), Sega Arcade(Northway Mall), Funplex, and any other arcade I could find.
Sadly there are not any open around me anymore.
I go to Funspot in NH a 3-4 times a year.
I might have sold you a pair or corduroys while I was working at the Gap downstairs
Ha. Good chance as I spent a LOT of time in that mall.
I was in Philly this past weekend and I actually asked my dad about how that
mall was doing and he said that there was a lot of TARGET/WAL-MART type
stuff popped up all around it but it's still there.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
The place in the Mall was called Aladdin's Castle, which we hung out at alot. But there was a place in the late 70's we hung at in another strip mall down from Baskin Robbin's Ice Cream Shoppe but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

Nearest one when I was in Burlington Flats,NY was in Edmeston. Had it downtown next to a small diner. Had maybe five or six games and a pool table. If you wanted anything major, you had to go to Oneonta or New Hartford.
Galaktican arcade in Westgate West- San Jose, CA... ah, those was the days. I miss that place.

Mine was from a chain of Arcades called Time Out. There was also a locally owned store front down the road, not in the mall that lasted for a long time, but it was also known as a place of danger and to be avoided by upstanding kids.
A bowling alley in Lake Forrest, CA. Or Shorty's corner store in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Other than that, it was just playing Atari.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

Space Port in the King of Prussia, Pa. Mall, also occasionally the game room in the basement of the Valley Forge Sheraton, and, while it was open, I spent practically every day after school in Junior high in the local arcade in the Gateway Shopping Center along 202, which doubled my commute home.
EDIT: and of course, there was a Space Port in the King of Prussia mall, too.
I realize this is not a 70's question, but I was reminiscing about my favorite classic video games and thought back to where I spent WAY too much time as a kid. Ther was a place near me with the great name of Cosmic Cave, but I spent most of my time at the Oxford Valley Mall's version of this place-

If you're really committed to walk back to hese dark places, here are two links to training slideshows for Space Port workers. I imagine there was some sort of narrative given live. Ther a re great machines in the background and some outfits I distinctly remember wearing.
I am so glad you posted this. We had a Space Port (which was my main arcade) in the Newburgh Mall, Newburgh NY. I had no idea it was a chain until I saw your pic and the youtube video
