Hey folks!
I'd like to know more about moving North. I've travelled a lot. I've stayed in England and Australia but I haven't spent time in Canada.
My Situation:
I'm getting Married this year and would like to move somewhere that you don't have to be a lawyer a salesman and a Psycologist to work with kids.
My Wife doesnt have a college degree and is inclined towards assembly work, especially printing.
I have a BFA and experience and training in Art and Special Ed. I love biking , climbing, caving, hiking and kayaking.
Basically what I know about Canada is from micheal moore movies and the Wikipedia listing saying %44 of North Folks are hippies.
:-)
DAVE!

). But seriously, you want to make sure it's a good fit for you before any kind of permanent move. Also Canada is huge, the west coast is very different from the prairies, which is very different from the maritimes, etc. Maybe one part suits you better, so do some research.
You'd also need to look into immigration requirements (assuming that you or your wife doesn't have Canadian citizenship). Anyway, I may be biased, but I think Canada is a great place to live, so I approve of your interest.
