Spellbound went up against Bowling for Columbine.

Supersize Me lost to Born in Brothels. While both were great, I think BinB most definitely deserved that win.

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH !!!

Sam-noir : I havnt finished the Special Ed Grad degree because I failed the legal paperwork class. I havent gone back because of money and I would prefer to be an assistant and work with the kids more. Also I can't afford it this year.

Fallen : Thank you !!!!! for that link.!!!!! Cheers me up!

This morning before my Fiance went to work we were talking about the future and jobs and money.

It got me down pretty bad.
She wants a House by a lake one day and I want to give it to her.

Jobs are tough. School, Training, it's all been a gamble.

I failed the immigration test. I don't have enough points. My fiance didnt bother. Looks like my best bet would be to marry a Canadian.

If I stumble across the Niagra Falls border Pregnant and give birth on Canadian Soil my child will be a Canadian and I will have to stay to care for it.

My plans ( like the Gizmo of the week on McGuyver) always overlook one tiny detail to make them work for real.

          No womb.

But I have been looking at a lot of places reccommended by folks here. Then I spent a day playing with Cool Map Quest. I could zoom out into space and back again ! I even watched some street weather cams in some places ! How neat is that!

I have a relocation packet in the mail from Polson, MT

A lake, a Native community, Mountains, small, . . . hope they have Yoga. A movie theatre that plays old films would be Super Awesome!

And a Goodwill, a bar, a Dollar Store, laundrymat, cleaners, delivery pizza, a nice Library, a Subway ( with spinach) a good fresh grocery, . . . .thats about it.

I think I read you have to get a licence for your bicycle. I don't like that.

Still the "Culture" arguments on forums I have read are scary. I am very interested in Gun Collecting, Fishing Season etc. I worry it might not go both ways , "THEY" might not be as tolerant of an artist.

            I've been reading a great book on Washington state. . . .

Sorry about the test - but I'm sure you'll find a place you'll be happy in!

I think you should try Washington State. You'll love it. If not, Oregon.
Not sure what type of environment you seek. We have all of the above up here in the northwest.

I'm reading Planet Walker right now and Dr Francis keeps a journey of his walk and time living up there.

My fiance gets cold easy. I told her we could look to the south but she says she'll adapt. Plus I still need to VISIT Canada. One way or another !

                        Seriously....

Well we can't just let anybody in here you know...

Don't feel bad my Grandma failed it a few times as well.
3rd times the charm...Just think about that,if she hadn't finally passed it.
I'd be an American right now...
She moved to Chicago when she was 3 from Sicily(with my great grandparents),at 15 moved to Canada(by herself).
They told her if she failed it one more time she was going back to the US.

From what I've heard there are lots of transplanted "artist types" in Montana, and there are lots of community colleges, so you shouldn't worry too much about the stereotype of the cowboy redneck.

As far as intolerant types, we have our fair share in Canada too. A white supremacist/survivalist could find thriving like-minded communities in southern British Columbia between Creston and Cranbrook.

I grew up in Radium Hot springs, not to far from Cranbrook B.C. I used to go there on the weekends and there are a couple people in those parts that fit that description.
