You are not alone there. Took my daughter to see UP the day it came out. 5 minutes into movie and I was choking up. Glanced over at my daughter and she was too so I hugged her.

I watched it last night and was originally going to take my niece and nephew this weekend, but I'm thinking that some things will be too scary for a four year old. The ending is particularly frightening as they had to the melter, and that baby doll is really creepy.

The movie really touched my daughter. She had been not playing with her toys the past few months. As soon as we got home she ran upstairs and got all her Baby dolls to play with them. She has played with them all weekend.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

Yep, me and my boys played with toys after the movie.

I'm sure this comes up every time a Toy Story comes out, but I wish there were Megos in it. Looking forward to seeing it.

My wife and I saw it for her birthday. Great movie. And, yes, I teared up at the end. But my wife didn't.

Just saw it on Saturday night with the wife and the 6-year-old daughter. I got all choked up at the end as well. Of course, I like to tell myself that it must have just been really dusty in the theater, and that's why I was all teary-eyed.

Aw ja! Toy Story 3 with Mini Mego fans.

And yes, Daddy went and got some kiddy 3D glasses and I got a bit teary at the end, I admit it

That's one of the best things I've heard all week, by far.

Saw it with my 7-year old-daughter last night. She completely freaked out at the scary scene and tried to run out of the theatre. I was able to calm her down and explain that everything would be alright and that they wouldn't come to harm. That was how they made drama happen in movies. I was able to calm her down so that she saw the ending. Afterwards, I realized she has the same attachment to toys that I do and when we got home, I told her that she could hold on to her favorite toys and did not have to donate them anywhere and I could see her visibly relax.
                              It's all good!
