Went and saw Toy Story 3 today...

Ok I didn't notice any threads about this so if I missed it I apologise!

Just got back from seeing Toy Story 3 today with the wife....we really loved it! I enjoyed the first two TS movies but this one was the best, I think. Don't want to spoil anything for anyone so I won't comment much about specifics, but I thought the ending especially was really touching. Being a big vintage Fisher Price toy fan, I was happy to see them make cameos in the film. Needless to say there were lots of kids in attendance, but I think the adults are the ones who really enjoyed the film. This one definitely is the most "adult" of the three films. Anyone planning on going to see this, or taking the kids to see it this weekend?

Going Sunday for Father's Day at the IMAX in 3-D. I want to treat my 10 and 2 year old since without the I wouldn't be able to celebrate the day.

I didn't even realise there was an IMAX 3-D version, I'd definitely consider going to see it again to check that out.

I didn't either until we got the membership notice. Only runs for 2 weeks then back to regular IMAX movies.

Toy Story

A few months back, when we noticed the release date, and my son realized it opened the day before his birthday. When we asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday party this year, he said he wanted to invite his friends to see Toy Story 3 with him. So tomorrow, on his 8th birthday, after food, cake, and presents, we'll be watching it with about a dozen 7-8 year olds! Can't wait !

Just got back from seeing it with my family. My daughters first time going to the movie theater and she loved it!! Great movie...without a doubt this movie will win an Oscar for best animated movie!

We're hoping to see it, maybe at the drive-in. The reviews I've read said to skip the 3D because it doesn't add enough to the experience...though a drive-in might be too much in the opposite direction.

I watched all the Comcast tidbits and it looks like it's a fun movie. But now since I don't work w/ the older kids and do field trips, I may not see this one til the cable release.

Just got back from Toy Story 3. Wont give anything away, but have a tissue or a hankie ready for the end of the movie. I'll admit I teared up a bit at the end of the show.
