The hope that I have at the moment is that adversity in the end, leads to a much better tomorrow once the current bad passes. Does it suck? Yes. Is it easy to get through the times? No. Is there a way to soften the crunch time? For me faith helps along with the little glimmers of happiness that rears up ( such as my daughters five month old smile that doesn't care about bills and such) and of course having this group of friends here at the Museum that are willing to listen to me moan, cry, and vent.
Never forget that your not alone, it's not the end of the world, your not the first and only to go through it, and at the end of it all you and your family will have survived a storm that will make you all stronger and closer once the next chapter of your lives opens up.
I don't know if that will help or not but that's what keeps me chugging along.
'Waiting is the hardest part'.. (..Tom Petty told me that once.)
One of my favorite songs is the Wilburys' End of the Line:
Well it's all right, even if they say you're wrong
Well it's all right, sometimes you gotta be strong
Well it's all right, As long as you got somewhere to lay
Well it's all right, everyday is just one day
Well it's all right, even when push comes to shove
Well it's all right, if you got someone to love
Well it's all right, everything'll work out fine
Well it's all right, we're going to the end of the line
Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive (End of the Line)
I'm glad to be here, happy to be alive (End of the Line)
It don't matter if you're by my side (End of the Line)
I'm satisfied
Well it's all right, even if you're old and gray
Well it's all right, you still got something to say
Well it's all right, remember to live and let live
Well it's all right, the best you can do is forgive
This is getting more and more common everywhere. Thought for sure we would see a turnaround on the horizon. I too may be getting the bye bye soon as well. Not quite as depressed about it as some are though. Best of luck with the situation and we will keep you in our thoughts.

It's so true. I hope everything works out as it should.
Ok its 1:40pm here in Nevada. I was told last Friday that they( My employer ) would call me Monday morning at 8am. Well Its almost 6 hrs later and no call.
I ask. Does an employer have to lay-off, cut or fire you face to face? Verbal over the phone? Or could it be by mail?
My insiders at work claim it doesnt look good for me. Friends told me my office and desk were searched many times in the past 4 days.
Again thanks for the support. You girls and guys Rock!
