TASTYKAKE makes my favorites....both kinds of KRIMPETS, PB TANDYCAKES...
etc.
Haven't eaten them in decades though.
"No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris Mannix
For the first decade of married life, my wife would tease me for eating up whole boxes of Miss Debbie chocolate cake rolls. Ten for a buck..??? C'mon, no finer value in this world.
I haven't had a taste for them for a while now, grew out of 'em, I guess.
I'll ALWAYS have a desire for... Hostess Apple Fruit Pies.
Not a snack cake per se, but still a lustful desire.
As for comparing 'lustful desires', hey, it ranks. (Somewhere next to Drew Barrymore.)
I grew up eating Twinkies and Devil Dogs. But I loved the soft moistness of a Suzy Q. Funny Bones were awesome b/c they had peanut butter, but the best has got to be Tasty Kakes Chocolate and Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes- discovered those as an adult. Don't have those kind of treats very often, but boy, those rock!
I grew up on Drakes and Hostess, and Dolly Madison. Back then I might have said Devil Dogs, (chilled right out of the fridge, yum!), but as an adult I prefer Hostess Cupcakes, (before they took out the trans fat). I mean I know it's bad for you, but that fudgy taste that it used to have just isn't there anymore.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
