I don't know it I can classify the 87 Masters of the Universe movie as crappy. Sure it was cheesey but I've seen a lot worse. That Vampirella movie comes to mind.
Has anyone ever seen summer camp nightmare??? Look it up it is a good piece of crap. I love the Legend of Billie Jean, Helen Slater rocks FAIR IS FAIR LOL
I just saw "GymKata", it was completely insane and it reinvigorated me to do this update!
EmergencyIan - I gotta go with BlackKnight on "Commando" here - it's just not crappy enough for this list, and it was WAY too influential. Though it does come pretty close to crappy because of the Mad Max dude's mesh T-shirt, Dan Hedaya's fake cuban accent, and the OBVIOUS cardboard cut out soldiers that Arnie keeps exploding at the end. Oh, also Rae Dawn Chong's cheesy jokes about being "macho" and the recycled "48 Hours" music, the most insane hit-man murder strategies EVER ON FILM (remember the guy in the auto dealership? He didn't even get hit that hard!)
Wow - I actually never sat back and thought about how crappy Commando actually is, come to think of it.
Spawn67 - I can't go with Easy Money, it's kind of crappy, but it just rules too hard! Every 3rd movie should have starred Dangerfield and Pesci! Awesome list!
JediJaida - Yeah, Hector's right - this is for movies that everyone agrees on as being crappy, including you, but you also love it.
Thor - Sorry man - I thought Masters of the Universe was pretty crappy, though maybe you can rally for some support?
WannabeMego - oh man! You, me and Bruce Willis' mom were the only ones who liked this movie - amazing pick!
my favorite crappy movie is the "Brain that wouldnt die" and I guess it is crappy because I tried to turn Cmonster on to it but he wasnt having none of it!
HAha! GymKata was my pick! Man... that sucks. I love Gymkata.
I also was completely unfamiliar with KULL. When I saw it on the list I thought, "Wasn't that Krull?" but that's a completely different crappy movie.
Ok - Runner up:
ROBOT HOLOCAUST
The story of a man with special physical and mental abilities, named Neo, who rises up after a great war in the future to defend the last known human enclave from an all powerful robot hive that enslaves them for the purpose of power generation. The heroes must run through the tunnels to reach the power station while avoiding spider like foes and robot humanoids sent to destroy them. At the end one of the heroes must die after being assimilated by the system in order for everyone to be free.
BILL - Thanks I forgot about that beastmaster rip off
one I really like (and it's cheesy and a b movie) is Time Rider the adventure of Lyle Swan - a tour de force of 80's cliche's juxtaposed with western tv show cliches. Starring Fred Ward (remo williams) and Peter Coyote, Written and Produced by Mike nesmith (of the monkees) I loved it so much I got it on laserdisc
close second is the Dolph lundgren and Brandon lee cop/kung fu duo Showdown in little Tokyo
